Just want to record voice with my built in iMac microphone...guidance? Eventual goal is to use audio voice track for FCE, but want to lay down an audio track for a placeholder to measure length (time) and make some queues. Garage Band or something else.
Info: iMac 27 i5 Mid 2010, Mac OS X (10.6.8), FCE 4.0.1 Nikon D90
I was in the middle of recording voiceover for a project on FCPX 10.1.3, the recording was working fine, and then when I hit the red record button it wouldn't begin countdown nor will it record. I've trashed my FCPX preferences and rebooted, still having the same problem.
Info: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013), OSX 10.9.5
I'm planning on adding how to videos to my site (flash) so that its easier for my customer to understand how to use a page. Ie instead of trying to explain common things in a FAQ I would have a video actually showing them. Ideally I'll be able to record my actions on screen and my voice as I describe what I'm doing. I'm willing to pay for the app, but just not that much ie less than $100. Now I don't need an all in one, for instance if there is a free app to do screen recording and another free app that can record my voice and another to merge them together I'm fine with that. I understand that free is free and I have to deal with some of the headaches. Any advice as to what software I would need. A quick google for mac screen recording brings a bunch of results.
Every time I open imovie it works well enough, until i try and record my voice. It automaticaly shuts down imovie, and really frustrates my teacher and I. It's imovie 4.
I downloaded the Samantha (same as Siri) voice just for fun. I don't use voice over, and I was just using it for fun. Now I realize it was almost half a gig of hard drive space. Oops. Is there any way for me to delete this new voice on my Mac?
I may need to have surgery to remove a cyst (too much typing) below the index finger on my strong hand and I am thinking of trying Voice Recognition Software for the weeks I am recovering. But alas no microphone jack. I never ever use a microphone for anything, so I don't know Is there such thing as a USB mic.
I am seeking assistance in transferring my voice memos from my iphone 4 to my Mac book air (something that should take place seamlessly between apple products is proving to be quite a nuisance.
How do I move Voice Memos from my iPhone 5 to my MacBook Air, iOS 10.9.4? It does NOT sync Voice Memos when I sync everything else, seems to just ignore the app entirely. I need to be able to access Voice Memos from my computer when my phone is not available.
I have these black boxes around my active pages, I looked online for pointers but they all pointed to me disabling my voice-over in the universal access option on system preferences. My voice-over wasn't enabled and the boxes are still here
I recently got a new Macbook Pro, and I am trying to record some gameplay footage of my online adventures in PS3 games to share with friends. I would like to record in preferably HD 720p if possible, but Standard Definition would be acceptable only if I can play the game in HD on my Television while it recorded in SD. My TV does not have any outputs, only input connections for component, composite, and HDMI.
I've done a lot of researching on the internet, and the closest thing I found to what I was looking for was the Hava HD Wireless. [URL] The problem is that it doesn't seem to say anywhere that it will work with a Mac. I was wondering if there is any Mac solution to my problem.
I'm not sure if i'm suppose to post it here sorry if im not suppose to anyway. I was wondering if i can play a psp on my macbook pro screen and record it using a screen recorder. I've seen many video on "playing psp on PC", but havn't seen a mac one.
So, I treated myself to a brand spanking new Macbook Pro Yeahhh, I picked up the 15" 2.3Ghz and suped it up with 16gigs of Ram and a 750gig 7200rpm HD and this baby flies, especially taking into consideration my last laptop was an ibook (chuckle).Â
Okay here is the question: Is there any way I can record applications that I am running on my laptop, I am into some new video projection controll software and would like to create a trouble shooting vid/manual as I resolve sits.
I have a 17" Macbook Pro from Jan 2012 and I can't get an external microphone to work. Initially I tried a cheap Sony microphone with no luck. So purchased logitech headphones. They have 2 jacks, one headphones, one microphone. I've tried it with Word for Mac and Quicktime (selecting line-in)
