MacBook Pro :: Transferring Apps From IPad To Mac?
Apr 29, 2012
I just got a macbook pro and I would like to know what is the equivalent of Word in Apple. I purchased PAges for my iphone and Ipad, is there a way to get in on my macbook as well.
I am attempting to transfer photos from my iPad to my Mac Air. These photos were downloaded from 2 different cameras but my problem is that not all photos are moving across to the Mac Air. Is the only solution to go back to the source and download again from the cameras or there an easier way?
I just bought a iMac and I would like to transfer all my iTunes Music and Apps from my iTunes from my Macbook Pro to the iMac So my iphone and ipad will have no problem. I want to make the iMac my main computer for all iTunes things.
I want to transfer Ebooks from my Mac to Bluefire Reader on my iPad 2.
I found a guide on how to transfer the books to my iPad, but then I could only read them in iBooks.
Problem is I don't want to use iBooks; I want to use Bluefire Reader. Thus, I continued my search and found another guide on how to specifically transfer the books into Bluefire Reader.
Happy with my findings, I then concluded my search finished, but to my horror the new Itunes (the Mavericks one) didn't function as the older version used in the guide.
I've bought several movies on ITunes store with the same user and when I Sync my PC with my IPhone and IPad some movies didn't transfer to my devices. I have checked if my devices has space or if I select the specific movies to be transfer.
ok so every time i plug my iPhone 5s into my mac and open up iTunes to sync some music to my phone, i go to "music" and click the button "sync" at the bottom of the page in the iPhone music section. but all my apps gets transferred on my phone again even the apps that i deleted
I have an imac running Leopard which is my son's machine.
All his music and Office are sitting on the admin account, not him and I want to transfer it all to his account, but cannot find any clues in the help menu.
Also when logged on as him, I can't access the internet, even though I can when logged in as administrator - any clues?
I have tried installing Office when logged on as him but it won't recognise the admin log in details required during the install. My log in details are first name and last name but once I have entered my first name it won't allow me to enter any more characters. I've tried entering "admin" and "administrator" at this point but no dice.
Just bought a MacBook Pro. Currently transferring my various files. I purchased Pages and Keynote on an older iMac via the AppStore. Can I somehow bring over these applications to the new laptop without having to "re-buy" them?
How can I move apps from my mac to my ipad? Both have icloud...itunes... & I manually connected them .. how to put my previously purchased app over to my ipad?
i have been using my iPad and iPhone for a little over a year and have many many apps on both that I can easily update from device to device...I recently added the Mac Mini desk top to my work and want to sync some of the apps plus the info they contain on my desk top but can not figure out how to please help
I'm convinced that the next version of OSX will allow you to install and run natively all iPhone and iPad apps, with future screens being touch enabled, and those that aren't let you use the mouse instead of your finger when gesturing. I can't wait till I can install and run the facebook app on a MBP, for no reason in particular, just because I can.
I need to find out how much I have spent on apps for taxes. But in the app store on my iPad under the purchased tab, it lists all the apps but the prices are not available.
I have downloaded several apps from my I pad to my mac but cannot open them in I tunes, they are there but will not open. They were downloaded via I cloud?
Is there any way to permanently keep my iphone and iPad apps OFF of my macbook pro? Every time I connect, I ensure that "sync apps" is not checked, but then iTunes says I will lose my purchases if I don't transfer them over. This does not seem to be the case, however- aren't all of your app purchases automatically registered on iCloud? So I click transfer purchases, but this of course then puts EVERY APP onto my iTunes, which takes up a whopping 36GB of space. I can't afford to have that much space taken up! Should I just ignore the iTunes warning, or is there another way to ensure that iTunes doesn't keep these seemingly useless and HUGE backups on my macbook?
Quick background, I just bought an iPad2 for my class and I want to only have apps related to education. My wife has an iPad 2 and whenever I buy a song, it automatically syncs it with her iPad. I don't want that with my class' iPad. Is there a way to set it up, so this will not happen?
When I try to download app, it requests my password. Everything is fine. App is put on my desktop, it says "waiting". But then nothing. Tried to resign, toggle on and off jiggle mode, removing and installing app again.
I am running ios 10.5.8 & have itunes 10.8 and have both an iphone 4s and ipad 2. When i get new apps in the itunes store the apps seem to automatically appear on my iphone 4s a few seconds later, but they wont on my ipad 2. For me ipad 2 I need to actually plug it in to get them on my ipad. How can I make my ipad 2 get the apps automically?
It's not fair that there are wonderfull apps for the ipad and iphone but not the computer - if I had of known, I would have went with an ipad at the time of purchase.
A friend of mine has a developmentally disabled child. He has given her an iPad. I would like to search for apps that would be good as a gift to her. I do not have an iPad but do have an iMac. Is there a way for me to search for iPad apps using my Mac computer?
