Quick background, I just bought an iPad2 for my class and I want to only have apps related to education. My wife has an iPad 2 and whenever I buy a song, it automatically syncs it with her iPad. I don't want that with my class' iPad. Is there a way to set it up, so this will not happen?

Every time I connect, I ensure that "sync apps" is not checked, but then iTunes says I will lose my purchases if I don't transfer them over. This does not seem to be the case, however- aren't all of your app purchases automatically registered on iCloud? So I click transfer purchases, but this of course then puts EVERY APP onto my iTunes, which takes up a whopping 36GB of space. I can't afford to have that much space taken up! Should I just ignore the iTunes warning, or is there another way to ensure that iTunes doesn't keep these seemingly useless and HUGE backups on my macbook?

I am new to iPad, barely have a clue how to use it. I find apps on the iTunes on the computer and download, but it won't sync to my iPad. It keeps saying 'you need to authorize this computer', which I do, only to be told 'it is already authorized', and it goes on like this. The apps can't be found on the iPad Itunes (I looked for even popular apps like Whisper and it isn't coming up) so it seems that the only option is to get the computer to sync with the Ipad--but how? I thought Ipad were intuitive to use but I am not find this at all right now.

I transferred all my itunes library to an external hard drive.I had all my songs in itunes and then went to "preferences" and set itunes to look on my external hard drive for my itunes. Then I went to "library" and then "consolidate", and it moved all my library over to my external. I can verify that my songs are all there on my externalHowever, now, itunes won't play any songs of mine. I double click on the song in itunes and it just wont play. The old computer was a Windows Vista with 10.6.040 itunes. I copied the entire itunes folder to an external hard drive. Interestingly, the media file in that folder was titled itunes music, not itunes media.
the new computer is OX10.7 Lion. No playlists, no purchased tab, but all the music is there.
From what I read, the playlists should have come along.
I bought a movie on my ps vita through the playstation store app and I followed the instructions to transfer to my Mac with content manager. It appeared to work but I can't find movie on my Mac. I want to move it into iTunes. I didn't buy it from iTunes because I had more money in my playstation account. I looked under movies folder and searched for it but I don't see it.

I have the Australin app called Ninenewsbreak and the app works well on my iphone4 BUT the sound won't work on my iPad.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times and still no sound. This app is for the iPhone and iPad according to the advert in the app store. The sound works great on the iPad for other apps downloaded.

I'm convinced that the next version of OSX will allow you to install and run natively all iPhone and iPad apps, with future screens being touch enabled, and those that aren't let you use the mouse instead of your finger when gesturing. I can't wait till I can install and run the facebook app on a MBP, for no reason in particular, just because I can.
