How do you print a sheet of mini labels (65 per A4 page) using 1 contact from AppleMacbook/iphone contacts? I can only print 1 label. It was quite easy with Microsoft Word but difficult with Apple contacts and not possible in pages.

Does the apple address book app print contacts/address labels. On my PC it is possible to use all the labels on an A4 sheet, because you can select which labels are still available from a part used sheet. On the iMac it always wants to start from the top of the page even when there are no labels there. I find it very wasteful to throw away part used sheets of labels. Maybe I am missing some vital information, because I don't believe a mac can't do what a PC does, in all other aspects a Mac wins hands down. I would appreciate any solutions to this problem as I have only had the iMac eight months and still learning, and I would prefer not to have to use my PC if avoidable

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a bunch of contacts in my Apple Contact book but am using Outlook for Mac 2011 for email, contact management, and calendar. I have read that you have to sync your Apple contact book to your exchange account rather than directly to the Outlook for Mac 2011 programs so you don't create duplicates (contacts coming from the Apple address book AND the Exchange server). However, I can't find anything that tells me how to sync the Apple Contacts with my Exchange account. I figure at that point once synced, my exchange account will push the new contacts from the Apple Contact book back into Outlook for Mac 2011 making everything whole.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having a very difficult time setting up my Google apps IMAP e-mail account to work correctly with Apple Mail 3.0, as well as with my Apple iPhone, and I was hoping that somebody could please help me get this figured out once and for all. I have followed all of the Google apps IMAP e-mail setup instructions to properly configure your IMAP e-mail clients, but despite this I am still having problems getting everything working properly. I'm currently using an iPhone with firmware version 1.1.4, and I have manually configured my Gmail account on my phone. I mention this because Google has clearly specified that there are different instructions for handling the proper deletion/archiving of e-mail messages depending on which version of the firmware you are using. My main problem has to do with properly mapping my IMAP labels, with the corresponding Apple Mail 3.0 folders and the folders on my iPhone. I havve searched for the answer to my questions repeatedly on the Internet, but most of the articles and blog posts that I have find that describe the the proper methods of setting things up correctly were either originally posted before the recent Gmail IMAP implementation, or before Gmail version 2.0 became available (or before things changed with version 1.1 .3 of the iPhone firmware). Needless to say, it's been difficult to find a relevant article that applies to the current scenario under which I am trying to set things up.......

I use my Mac for business for years, and until now, I've kept a Windows box to print out mailing labels.I finally got off my butt and got my contacts moved over into address book so I could just use one computer.However, when I went to print a test sheet of labels, I saw that there was no option to print the the Position of my contacts on the label...which I need to do for business.I'd prefer not having to put the "Position" into another field to get it to print, because I like to keep things organized.I'm not afraid of jumping into the Terminal if that's what it takes to get this feature added to my copy.I just need to be able to do it somehow.

I often do this to conserve paper when I'm printing lecture notes. With Leopard, I'm often doing this blind and get things out of order. Has anyone got this to work? I seem to think that one of programs--either preview or Acrobat--provided this functionality in Tiger.
View 1 Replies View RelatedEver since I upgraded to OS X Lion, I have noticed something different in the print dialogue. First the technical info: I am using a 2009 Mac Mini (4 GB RAM, OS 10.7.3) and I have a couple of printers that I use - one is a Brother laser printer (shared from an iMac, running 10.6.8) and a Canon Pixma Pro 9000, connected via USB to a Time Capsule.
When I hit Command-P to bring up the print sheet, I now get icons on the left hand side of some of the printer names in the printer list. One looks like a road sign - diamond shaped with a walking person in it, and the other is a circle with a wavy line (tilde?) in it. The other printer names have no icons next to them. I gather that the circle-and-tilde means "printer not available" (or something similar) - even though the printer is there!!! And then I wonder why the other printer names have no icons, and I have no clue what the "walking person" sign means.

I have labels sheets (Avery) that I want to print on.
In Word, i just choose File, New, Labels, and am given a choice of label types. I fill in the tabs and job done.
Does anyone know how to do this in Pages? I know how to create a table, but, isn't there an easier way to do this?
Plus, can I edit the current business cards template so that I can use it to create the labels?
Currently, I am using Pages for all my word processing stuff, with the exception of printing labels and envelopes.
I'm running 5.1.5 in Lion. When I click the "Print Label" button to ship a package on UPS as I've done for years, the button links to a UPS "Page Not Found" page. I'm not running in private mode or using the pop-up blocker, so I don't know what's going on. The button works just fine in Chrome. Haven't tried other browsers.
