i have a problem, i have a macbook pro 13 and randomly it's invert my capslock. When green led is on it write in lowercase and when it's off it write in uppercase. I have all latest update installed. A reboot fix the problem but for a little time..
View 2 RepliesI just bought this macbook off a friend cause he said he couldn't get it to work so what happens is when i push the f key it types a "�" like if i push the option+f. when i bring up the keyboard viewer when i press the left option key it seems like it auto puts a "�" on the screen and looks like it presses like 4 other keys but if I press the right option key it does nothing if i press right option+f does nothing but works with everything else. just dont know if maybe someone waste some water in it or something cause the left tab key and capslock key sticks sometimes also.

So I decided to touch the top of the monitor again, and my screen became inverted permanently until I tapped it again.
I've just installed the 10.6.2 update in my new 21.5" iMac. When my computer restarted all the colors look inverted in all applications, dock, menus, photos, desktop image, everything. Does anyone has the same problem or an idea of how can I fix this?

I have an early 2008 MBP 15" (I think detailed specs are in my signature) and recently (over the last week or so) when I move my laptop display up and down (physically), the screen has this thing where it gets inverted and what not. It is very annoying, and I have been having to constantly fiddle with it everytime I move my laptop around (I use it both as a desktop and as a laptop, so this happens a lot). I recently switched to using it clamshell mode as a means of avoiding this in desktop mode, but occasionally I'll still need to move it around places and what not. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before, or has any ideas as to what might be a better solution. I would take it in for repair, but I don't really have 300+ dollars to spend on a repair right now. I think it might be related to the data cable connection to the display of the computer, since it is rather intermitment, and requires fiddling for the screen to not be inverted/messed up/displaying black lines, etc. I can post more details about it, pictures or something if that would help any of you geniuses out there as well.

The next time I opened up the file in preview it looked normal on my screen but when I went to print it the output in the printer had the colors inverted. I have tried printing from preview and adobe acrobat and it printed the same the blacks came out white and the whites came out black. So I tried printing it from a windows computer and the file printed as it should, the colors were normal not inverted.

But for some of the rainbow-y colored ones, the picture turns out inverted? This includes: Magicball, Coloido, Christmas, Tryptamine, Retro: Trippy, Retro: Rainbow Tee (my favorite!), Ocean, City Lights, etc. At first I thought this was a problem from the site I downloaded it from, but then I downloaded two sets from two different sites and both sets have effecs with this weird inverted-glitch.

I was trying to delete partitions on my hard drive to get it ready for a clean Yosemite install. All of a sudden the screen went grey and after a considerable amount of time I turned off the MacBook Air and then turned it back on. A grey screen with a folder and '?' showed up. Macbook Pro (Early 2010) running 10.6.5 w/ 2.56GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 500 GB HD w/ 290GB free space.
There have been times when I'm just running iTunes and the wheel of death will come on, or i'm on Chrome or FF w/ 2 other programs running and will get the wheel again and will get locked for about 1-2min. Before I hadn't had too many problems on a different MBP with lower specs, this one is higher yet is slow. I don't understand what the problem is because I also monitor my CPU and when it locks up the CPU remain at normal. Also, flash has always been lagging on here but will freeze for 5-10sec while audio keeps playing. I possibly think it's the Hard Drive which is a WD Blue Scorpio w/ 5400 RPM.
