View 1 Replies View RelatedIf there's actually anyone who uses bluetooth headphones and a bluetooth mouse at the same time....
do you experience any choppy lag on the mouse when you have both connected?
the audio seems to not have any issues, but the mouse seems to skip alittle bit hear and there. its not unbearable and it's still usable, but you do notice it. it works like normal when obviously the headphones are disconnected.
This just happened to me the other day, I plugged a pair of apple headphones in used them and then unplugged them. The next day I noticed that I was not getting any sound from my macbook air, no startup sound, no OS sounds, and even the headphones are not detected when plugged in. I've tried all the tricks and so far nothing.
Of course my mac is just out of warranty at the end of March and I'm going to imagine this is a small fortune to get fixed. Since last time I took it in while it was in warranty they wanted 900 bucks to replace my HDD
Anyone else run across this, I'm thinking of just throwing it on craiglist or ebay for like 900 bucks as is and buying a normal laptop
Is there any way to connect both a Thunderbolt -> Gigabit ethernet adaptera Thunderbolt -> DVI adapter (to connect a non-apple 27" TFT) to my macbook air (late 2011). Since it only has 1 thunderbolt connection, isn't there some kind of "1 -> multiple" thunderbolt hub device?

I have an AirPort Extreme for almost a year now. I have never had any problems till today. Suddenly all devices in my home were not able to connect to the internet except my MacBook. I tried resetting and even restoring the AirPort Extreme but nothing has worked. The only thing recently that has happened was that I updated to OS X Yosemite Beta but that was days ago.

Earlier today, this computer stopped connecting to the internet. I am still able to connect to the local wireless and check the status of my airport extreme (current model). But, all attempts to reach the internet fail. I've tested other devices (iPad, iPhone, and my mac mini) and they are all still using the wireless to reach the internet without issue. I even tried plugging the ethernet cable from the wall directly into my macbook (no modem in use, just wall to airport extreme, as we're in an apartment building), but that does not work for the macbook pro either. I reviewed the network settings for the macbook pro and the mac mini, and noticed that the DNS settings are different between the two - the macbook pro is listing an entry for Search Domains - westell.com, but my mini is not showing any search domains in that setting. Additionally, the ipv4 addresses are fairly different between the 2 computers, as well as the subnet mask (255.255.255.0 on the macbook, 255.255.252.0 on the mini) and router settings (192.168.1.1 for the macbook, 192.168.80.1 for the mini). Not sure what I can do to force/clear these settings on the macbook or anything else to check.Â
I have turned my MacBook Pro Retina into a hotspot and can connect multiple devices. Â
However, when I try to access the internet from the MacBook Pro while the hotspot is active, I cannot connect.Â
Is there some setting I am missing?Â

View 4 Replies View RelatedI feel like I've read every thread on every forum, and they all cover the same issues. I've spent FAR too many hours trying to hook this up and I'm asking for your help. I have the mini dvi to hdmi adapter, with the hdmi going into the tv. I only have one hdmi input on my TV so I know it's turned to the right input. I've tried mirroring, I've tried switching hdmi cables, and even bought another adapter. I had the picture up yesterday just clicking on settings but it was when the screen wasn't mirrored, and it was treating it as another display. Now I can't even get that to work. I've tried every resolution. I plug it in, and detect the monitor, and it brings up two windows. One is "color lcd" and the other is "TSB-H66S".

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm currently running a 21.5" iMac that I picked up in October of '09. I also have a Viewsonic 21" monitor (nx2232w) that I have connected to the iMac at the moment through an HDMI to DVI cable out of the Viewsonic, and into a DVI to mini-DVI for the iMac.The monitor is appearing and functioning in this setup, but I can't get a resolution of any decency. Most everything is out-of-range, or wildly odd, and I know I can do better somehow. I've been searching for Viewsonic drivers, trying out different combinations, and trolling the forums to no avail.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a new iMac which I'm attempting to connect to my Sony KDL-46S5100 LCD Television via HDMI. The TV will not recognize the computer. I have confirmed that my adapter and cable work by testing the connections on a MacBook Pro - that worked fine. However, when I plug the adapter into my iMac the TV says "no signal" and the iMac does not recognize the TV. I went to the Apple store earlier and they were able to get the computer to connect to their TV with no problem.
