When you open iTunes the screen will pop up with this followed message:The item you asked is not available in the ****store. But it is weird I didn't bought a thing or asked for something?..And the other thing there is also a message that you have to log in everytime. Also annoying for iCloud. This 2 things never happened before..Â

I am using Word for Mac on my Macbook Pro with Lion. Everytime I open a particular document in Word, the view shows Markups, which is really distracting. I can go to View, and get rid of the markup view, but then it shows up again each time I open the document.Â
Also, each time I open Word, every document I have worked on in the last few months opens, too. I close each document individually, using File - Close, which I thought would take care of it. But it doesn't, and all these documents open, instead of just the one document I want open.Â

View 3 Replies View RelatedStarting this morning I am being driven crazy by the Character Pallett launching unexpectedly on its own and then crashing almost immediately. Then it attempts to launch again, flashes briefly on screen, and crashes again. My crash log shows the same repeated process.[Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalI nconsistencyException', reason: 'Invalid parameter not satisfying: (index >= 0) && (index < [_itemArray count])'] It's pretty impossible to get anything done. I tried reinstalling OSX combo 1.6.8, but the installer would not see my startup drive as being eligable; I then reinstalled Snow Leopard 10.6 and attempted to update to 10.6.8 that way. But this attempt lead to an error that cancled the install. So now I am running 10,6, but with many apps that require 10.6.8. And the Character Pallett keeps poping up and then crashing even with 10.6. I'm beginning to think it may be a hardware problem, either ram or logic board issue; but I lack the diagnostic skills to figure it out. I thought of trying to launch the Character Pallett on purpose, but when I open the System Preferences and click the box that would place the Keybaord icon in the menu bar (which is the only way I know to get to the Character Pallett) the icon doesn't appear. The check mark doesn't even stick.
View 7 Replies View RelatedThis happens when I'm using something other than email or Word, for example, Excel or the internet. When I want to go back to my email, I will click on the email icon on the dock, but instead of popping up my email, one of my open Word docs will appear. Then I click on the email icon again, and the right thing comes up. Â
I've run software update and I'm not sure what else to do. It's making me nuts. Sometimes, I might be using Safari and have just taken a screen snap or copied a link and I want to flip over to my email to send it to someone or whatever, and it shows me a paper I'm writing for school or something instead. It's dumb but annoying. Â

I cannot open iTunes. Message "iTunes quit unexpectedly". It only opens for about 5 seconds where there is a message about restoring windows, which makes no sense. I have shut down, restarted, checked for software updates. I am running OS 10.7 (lion).

Every time I try to open an existing document or save a new one Microsoft word crashes. I am able to start a new document but if I try to save it all of the action/editing buttons fade/unhighlight (save, print, quit, copy paste, etc) and I am ubable to do anything. However, most of the buttons in view, history, bookmarks, tools, window & help still work. Then I have to force quit because the option to quit is no longer available.

After upgrading? to Snow Leopard, i found my HP 3055 Printer didn't work, nor did MS Word2008 work without crashing. I finally got through the printer issue by re-loading a driver, but after removing and re-loading Word, I still have issues. I've repaired permissions, verified the disk and I still find it crashes when calling up a file. This app is impossible to work with, so what to do next?

I'm massively stumped, word for mac 2008 crashes every damn time i try to print off the file drop down menu. It prints if i use the icon but then i don"t get any extra features which of course i need for work.
I have updated mac office and it's not a cracked version. I have also reset the printing system in print & fax in system preferences.
I just tried to open Word and this message appeared - 'You can't open the application Microsoft Word because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.' I just recently loaded OS X Lion does this mean my software for MS Office is now out of date? Do I have to purchase a new package?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've been attempting to sync my iPod touch for a while now, everytime I do it crashes just as it begins the actual sync section.
Only recently i noticed the error message "searching for movie data in file..." I have searched through finder and my external harddrives and time machine and this file doesn't actually exist.
The error message does have a cancel and a search button on it but i am unable to press them as all i get is the spinning pinwheel of death when i hover over the itunes window.
It's really really frustrating is there a way of telling itunes not to looking or sync this file before i actually sync my ipod.
I can't launch iMovie '08. When I try to run the app, the icon appears on the dock, but no screen or message error is shown. It just hangs, and I must do "force quit". This only happens with my user, as I've tested with other users on the same machine and iMovie seems to be running OK. I've cleaned my user cache in order to solve any problem with that, but it didn't work at all. I have installed the last actualization (iMovie 7.1.4). I doesn't seem to be an interference with iPhoto, as other users have experienced, since I've deleted com.apple.iPhoto.plist and the problem still persists.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a co-worker that took a ton of notes as I went along and did the "driving" of installing some new server/app and we were going to use that to do the next build. Well it looks like he never hit save one time after starting the doc and then his MBP crashed and it's all gone.
Is there an autosave or temp file created somewhere that it'd be possible to recover this from?
He's running 10.6/snow leopard fwiw.
