Applications :: Change Safari Auto Fill Forms Data?
May 30, 2009This has been bugging me for months, so I'm hoping someone out there can answer this query. Our county changed our house number several months ago. I use auto-fill on Web page forms very frequently. Of course, every time I auto-fill my address info, my original house number comes up, and I have to edit it to the new number. I've searched around, but I have not been able to locate where the data for filling in the forms are kept, or any procedure available for changing what data Safari uses to auto-fill. Does anyone know how to accomplish this feat?

May 13, 2012I'm a new safari user. in firefox, for example when I've searched "bacon" on one site, if I search it again on other website, bacon would show in the dropdown when I type "b." but in safari that's not the case. "bacon" only shows up on the website that I've searched it on. the same with forms. I have to type my e-mail on every website. it's tiring.

Jun 2, 2010I have been working on a project in iMovie for a few days, and it has been working perfectly. Today, I opened up my project and I could not play the project (the red line would move, but no picture would show up in the upper right hand corner box) and ALL of the options in the "share" tab were gray and unable to click them. Many options in the "edit" and "file" tabs were unable to be clicked as well.
Another project i completed months ago is working perfectly. The clips in the events play/show up on the window in the upper right hand corner

As a complete aside, is there a keyboard shortcut for being on google chrome or safari, then immediately opening the window for "preview." I'm typing notes out on preview while listening to a video lecture on my web browser, usually chrome, and i'd like to switch back and forth.

But, if i use sudo open -t /etc/hosts OR $ sudo nano /private/etc/hosts It doesn't give me any error, and it also opens the HOSTS file. But its empty! I need to enable short_open_tag. I believe I need to make a change to the php.ini file.
I have tried to open it through terminal through the following comands: cd /etcsudo nano php.ini
got the error message Error opening terminal: xterm-256color.
so then I tried cd /etcsudo pico php.ini and got the same error message.
My Question is, to enable short_open_tag, do I need to edit the php.ini file or not. If I do, how? If not, how to I enable short_open_tag?
