Safari will not load web pages?

I've avoided asking this question for over a year but I just can't take it anymore.
Ever since I got my first macbook pro(Tiger) in 2006, I've had a pretty poor web-surfing experience when it comes to pages with a large quantity of images.
Whether it's in Firefox or Safari, it seems it takes forever to load jpegs, gifs, pngs, etc., much slower than in Windows.
And more often than not, it'll often just stop trying to load some of the images and leave empty frames instead. An annoying side effect of these situations is that I won't be able to load other websites in separate tabs until I wait 2 or 3 minutes at least.
It almost mimics what happens when you just plain lose your internet connection. My best example is www.fark.com.
Sometimes posters will post large quantities of images, 100+. Heck, what am I saying, sometimes it's not even that much but Firefox and Safari will still choke trying to retrieve the pictures.
I set aside the macbook for this very reason because I often open multiple tabs at once when I surf..and if one of those tabs just happen to be image-intensive, my whole surfing experience will grind to a halt until whatever process is happening times itself out.
I THOUGHT the problem would be fixed with Leopard..but it hasn't. I've searched the forums but I haven't found anything useful, although I've caught small stories here and there of people having the same issue, but nothing widespread.
The whole problem starts with image files...and sometimes it doesn't necessarily need large quantities to choke. Just a modest amount will do sometimes.
Any ideas?? Is it my router? (WRT54G) My DSL connection? (Yahoo SBC) It happens on either wireless or with cable. My windows boxes don't have this problem.
Not having images load is bad enough, but having your browser stall is just insufferable! (I'm also using a brand new Macbook Pro so this problem stems across two revisions)
I have uninstalled and reinstalled flash player and i have installed the latest java and still every time i try to load the hulu website i get this: an extremely simplified version of the web page. All that it shows are the thumbnails of the episodes and the text with some links and all of it is to the left of the web page, the background and other features such as their moving preview thing are not there.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having issues with the latest version of Safari -- 5.1.4 -- not being to fully load Google documents. I have a MacBook 2.13 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB of RAM, processor, I'm running OS X 10.7.3, and Safari simply will not load the Google docs web page. It gets about one-quarter of the way through it and then simply stops loading. Occasionally, it will load a partial list of documents, but then I get an error message which said Google docs has failed if I click on a specific document (which it loads but won't load the editing tools). So, I'm having to use Chrome. Google docs worked on the previous version of Safari. This is new, and happened after I upgraded this afternoon.

I'm running Safari 5.02 on a 15" Macbook Pro running 10.6.6. ALL TOO OFTEN I will attempt to access a page [URL] and it will not load. All I get is an eternal spinning wheel. I have to launch Chrome or Firefox to achieve success and they load the page without any difficulty.  I've suspected flash content conflict but have installed all the latest updates, but still no success.

Ever since yesterday, every time I open a bookmark in Safari, or enter a URL and hit enter, the page will just remain blank...only after I hit reload, or re-click the bookmark the page will load. This isn't always the case but happens a lot. This also occurs on my dads MacBook Pro so maybe it is an issue with my Airport Extreme?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running 10.5.2 on a PPC G5, but since I upgraded to 10.5 I can no longer print to our Xerox Docucolor 12 with Fiery rip, from either Apple Mail or Safari. All I get in print monitor is one of 2 messages:-/usr/libexec/cups/filter/pstops failed.OR empty print file!
I have tried re-installing the most up to date xerox driver and repaired permissions, but no luck. If I print from Acrobat/Illustrator or any other application, everything is ok. Just Mail & Safari are causing problems.
I am unable to get FB to load. Tried eliminating cookies as advised to another user. Did not eliminate the problem. I do not get any type of error message but rather the loading stops when it gets past the www. This happens whether trying to sign in to the facebook website or opening a FB message from friends. It won't load beyond the www.Â

I did an update on Safari a few days ago, and ever since I'm having trouble getting pages to load. It will load some of the information on the pages but not all of it, the pictures are the main part it won't load, and it just fills them in with a question mark. The current Safari I have is 5.1.7.

I have a ppc mac mini with 10.5.8 loaded. I cannot load photo on america on line mail. the wheel
keeps spinning and after some time an error comes up and tells me to try again. The strange part is that a couple of months I sent an e-mail and got the photo to load on aol mail.
But if I use the mos x mail it will load without any problem. Since I use the aol mail I would
like to be able to do the same thing as on system mail.
I have no internet issues anywhere else, just cannot load facebook, gmail, or google search. This has been going on for a few weeks. NEVER had the problem before, and no other computers in the house have any issues at all, but this is our only apple.....

I have OS 10.9.4, with Safari 7.0.6. Most of the time I cannot load any pages with Safari, even though my IMac can. The two machines have exactly the same software, and are connected to the same Comcast wireless. The problem briefly goes away. But after loading only a few web pages, the problem returns. The browser begins to load a page, and then hangs. When a page does load, it is much slower than on the desktop.

I am able to sign in and access the sign in page, but the inbox page freezes (loads up to about 75% on the menu bar) all the other msn websites follow suit load but not fully. I wouldn't mind but my main email account is with hotmail and my pop account via apple mail I cannot access junk and other folders etc..
