Jun 17, 2008What O2 settings I need to enter into my macbook to get my mobile broadband working? The O2 manual doesn't make sense and on the O2 website it says the mac will walk me through it but nothing comes up. I guess I need to enter the settings in manually but I dont know what they are and where to put them.

MacBook Pro :: Mobile Internet Not Working
Jan 3, 2010I have a Bell Mobile Internet Stick and my Macbook Pro doesn't recognize it. I have installed The Bell Mobile Connect software numerous times and nothing. it will find the hardware, and when i select connect, it ask for my password. Once my password is entered, a crash report comes up wanting to send it to Apple. On my hackintosh dell mini 10v under the network preferences it has a connection for Novatel CDMA connection, but I cannot get that to come up on my genuine MBP. Any ideas to get this working? Unfortunately this is the only source of internet i have and i am on the netbook to post this. I recently upgraded my hard drive to a 500gb Seagate from my standard 160gb drive the computer came with, I did an install onto the hard drive from my Snow Leopard install disc, and when prompted transferred all of my files from a previous time machine back up.

Applications :: Can't Open Numbers Doc From Mobile Me On MacBook Air?
Oct 15, 2010Got a weird problem. I store alot of documents on my iDisk so I can access them on either my MacBook Air or my iMac. It has worked great for several years.
I'm using Numbers '08 on both computers and both computers are completely updated.
Several weeks ago, the MacBook Air quit allowing me to open a Numbers document stored on Mobile Me. When I try to open a Numbers doc, I get a message saying, "The document could not be opened."
However, all is fine on my iMac. All numbers documents will open as normal from Mobile Me.
Also, other types of documents will open fine on the MacBook Air from Mobile Me i.e. Preview, Pages.
I tried copying a Numbers doc from Mobile Me to the Air, but I get an error stating, "The operation can be completed because and unexpected error occurred(error code -8084)."
Also, If I'm not dealing with Mobile Me, Numbers seems to work fine on the Air. I can create documents and open them fine.
In desperation, I did a clean install on the Air, but to no avail. I still have the same problem.
I can't think of anything I did to the Air to make it suddenly quit opening docs from Mobile Me.

Jul 6, 2008As u can see I have a 17" mbp and had it for a few months but after the nvidia announcement, Im seriously thinking about selling the mbp and using the which will cover for a 2.8ghz 8 core mp.
One of my fears is that the gpu will die over the years on the mbp and when apple care runs out or even if the mbp is covered by ac knowing that one day I would need to get it serviced..
I know I had the mp before and know what to expect and while the 17" mbp is a desktop replacement it is portable. Damn nvidia!
Sorry this is more of a venting thread than anything else.

The site and all info provided at this point makes no indication of it, but with 20 gigs of space you've got to be able to, because what happens to iweb and all the other site hosted by people's .mac? Feb 26, 2008Does anyone know of a Windows Mobile USB Driver that would allow me to tether my HTC Kaiser to my MacBook Pro via USB? I've been tethering via Bluetooth and that works fine, but doing it this way runs the battery down on my HTC quite fast, especially with HSDPA active. Also, it would allow me to keep the Macbook Pro plugged in and have the phone charged/charging via the USB connection, so that I don't kill the battery on the phone. I'm sure I'm not hte only Windows Mobile user here and I'm hoping someone else has found a solution.
