I have MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011), I installed Windows 7 using BootCamp Assistant. Now I have 2 OS, but windows 7 having some driver issue (network, audio not working). I don't have any CD for MAC, so how can I install this windows 7 driver?

The volume controls aren't working well. I'm using a M-Audio Firewire Audiophile external sound device. There seems to be a headphone level control on the left which sort of works (its continuous so you never know where you are in its range) and a "Level Controller" on the right which doesn't do anything to the sound yet it controls the sound bar in Sys Prefs/Sound. I downloaded the 10.4.11 driver from M-Audio.

I want to hook it up to the Mac to use as a USB tethered network device so I can use it on the train and wherever wifi fails to work. I can get the phone set up right, but the Mac doesn't see it as a network device. There is a Windows network driver for the phone but not a Mac driver that I can find. I CAN use portable WIFI hotspot, but with 2 radios running my battery life is terrible and I get some serious network lag.

We are trying to install/update to the NVIDIA 270.00.00f06 driver for the PNY Quadro FX4800 for Mac on our MacPro 3,1 with OSX 10.7.4. The system tells us "No Driver Update Needed for this System", and will not allow driver to be installed. Can anyone advise if the current driver is automatically installed or provided by Apple Updates. If not can you provide proper instructions on how to properly update the driver. Also how can we confirm what driver version is currently installed.

- A very very faint feedback, like when you plug an electric guitar in to an amp, can be heard when the first sound (the mac start up chime) is supposed to play on restart

my on board audio is realtek 883, which HDD.kext shall i install, where to get it?
The APPLEHDD.kext and Voodoo.kext got sound but sometimes I can here noise from the speaker.
I have this "unknown" audio driver installed on my mac called "Aggregate-Audio-Device"... not sure what that is... and where it came from... anyone know what that is, and how I can uninstall it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhile working in Windows XP on my iMac, I believe I inadvertently removed the driver for the built in audio device - the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. And so now I have no sound on my computer. I have tried reinstalling the driver, but at the end of the installation process it says that the device cannot start. My system automatically detects the device as new hardware when I restart the computer but even though I have removed and and tried to reinstall the the driver several times, I cannot get it to work.
When I go through the device troubleshooter, it tells me to detach the problem device and reattach it. However, the audio device is built into my mac, so that is not an option.
Few days ago I used my Buffalo external HD and it was working fine. Today I plugged it in and it didn't show up on my desktop as before. It's running tho cause I could see the light from it and can hear it been reading but the MacBook is not showing it on the desktop and it has a lot of my important stuff.
I'm using MacBook Pro OS X Yosemite.

When trying to install x64 Boot Camp drivers on my UMB, I get an error saying that my system is not supported. There is a way to force/trick the boot camp installer into installing the drivers anyway.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI installed Windows XP SP3 and it installed just fine. I went and bought the Snow Leopard OSX DVD from the Apple Store. The bootcamp installed, etc. now that I tried to install a game, it worked.
Upon start up, it's asking for Direct X, installed that as well. Then it said that it failed because I don't have the driver. I checked and the driver is non-existent for graphics.
Latest HP printer updates list the HP P2055dn printer as being supported. When I go to install the driver, I get a message stating "The software for this printer is currently unavailable. Please contact the printer's manufacturer for the latest software". On Apple's support page clearly states that this printer's drivers are included in the Apple Software update; [url]

I've just tried to install the epson drivers for my printer Epson Stylus Photo R220, went to their site and downloded the driver, installed and resarted.
Then installed the Epson Print CD application that comes with the CD, and installed, however when i try to print to CD an error states:
"The epson print driver dealing with CD printing is not installed"
I've looked on the CD and on their site and cannot find anything.
I need to install the Canon MP520 printer to my MBP. The printer is connected to another a PC running windows and is shared. I installed the OSX driver provided on the Canon page, I can see the printer in the network printers but when I am asked to choose the driver I can't see the correct model listed. On the other hand, if I simply connect the same printer via USB, to my MBP it is recognized directly. When I'm asked to provide the driver while adding the printer via the network, there is also the option to browse to the driver location. So my question is, where are the can I find the right driver on the OS?
View 3 Replies View RelatedA week ago my internal speakers disappeared from audio outputs on my 1G MBA (1.6/80gb). they would come back with a restart for a while, but now there just gone.
Another thing that is happening is that when the speakers are "missing", quicktime video is choppy, as is streamed video (like youtube). I also tried the garage band analysis and got the "Core Audio Selected Driver not found.(-10202)" message.
Other then these things, the computer is functioning flawlessly...
i've been trying to get 64-bit Windows 7 on my iMac by adding drivers one by one. The only driver that's giving me trouble is the keyboard one. The F-Keys do not work like they are supposed to. They are just the Windows default meaning the brightness keys don't change brightness and the sound keys don't change the sound. I have tried both the Leopard BootCamp drivers as well as the Snow Leopard BootCamp drivers and neither have changed how the F-Keys behave. Is there another driver i'm missing that I have to install?
Also i'm using the Apple Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard for whatever that's worth.
So I have the red light showing from my audio port on my macbook. I know this means there is a problem with my audio. And there is - I can't play sound from my internal speakers. When I try to adjust the volume control using F11 and F12 buttons (on standard macbook keyboard) I am unable to, and I have the little "no smoking"/"do not enter"-type logo underneath the volume control when I am trying to change the volume. I have tried to go into system pref -> sound -> and under the "sound effects" tab change the 'Play alerts and sound effects through:" option to 'internal speakers'.
But I am unable to select any options from that pull down menu. I also know others that have said, 'just put a toothpick or paperclip in your audio output port to get rid of the red light' - well I tried that and the problem persists. I am able to listen to sounds fine when i have headphones on, but as soon as i take out my headphones- no internal speakers. I have also done the obvious - restart/shut down and wait a few minutes- option, and making sure my applications aren't muted. I also did a SMC reset, and that didn't work
The speaker and audio in/out isn't working. Me and my friend were recording music on garage band and got some mic feed back. All of a sudden the speaker and audio ports stopped working. Is it something I can fix on my own or do I have to take the computer into apple and get it fixed.

I tried to install counter-strike on my vmware image of windows xp pro x64 edition. The thing is that when I opened up the application, I was told that I could only run in software mode. How do play the game utilizing my geforce 8600gt graphics card?
I have already checked the box VirtualMachine->Settings->Display->Accelerate 3D graphics. So this shouldn't be the problem.
I also tried downloading a driver from nvidias web site, but I could not install it.
This is about the installation of AHCI drivers to SATA ports for Windows. AHCI drivers (Advanced Host Controller Interface klick -> [URL] Interface for Wiki) are advanced performance drivers for the SATA controller in your Mac Pro (ICH10R chips for Nehalem - ESB2 for all others). When you go to profiler in OS X and bring up ATA you will see that your disks will all be connected by AHCI protocols.
