Nov 24, 2010Today, I got home and turned on my iMac 21.5 inch. On a typical day, I'd here the "BONG" and then everything would be normal. Today, my fans, or something inside the computer, sounded like it was going crazy. I have no idea what's wrong.
Mac Pro :: Mouse Going Crazy After Coming Out Of Sleep Mode
Jan 5, 2009At work im working on a Mac Pro 2x 2.8ghz quad core xeon.. when it comes out of sleep the mouse acts fine for about 5 secounds.. and then starts darting all over the place and then freezes in one area. I can stick click but not move the mouse. This is what i have tried so far.
1. disconnecting and reconnecting the mouse.
2. Looked in console for any weird mouse errors.
3. put it back to sleep and woke it back up.
4. restarted.
5. changed the energy saver options.
6. looked around mouse and keyboard cp for options.
7. tried another mouse.
8. tried using a mouse pad.
this is what has worked, but only works for about 5 secounds before it goes crazy again and then stops moving. force quit the finder. if i restart it, its fine till i put it to sleep and then it all starts over again. the system is fully patched to 10.5.6 with all the efi updates from apple update.

Aug 12, 2009i can hear some tickling sounds coming from my mac book, i think some thing wrong is going under the left side of key board(near keys tab,capslock,q,w,a,s....). i think fan is hitting some thing inside

Oct 7, 2009I bought this computer (Macbook Aluminum 2.4 GHz - currently running Snow Leopard) last October - my warranty ends Oct. 16th. Anyways, I put a disc in the drive earlier today, and the computer took it right away. That was unusual because half the time it doesn't wanna take the disc (someone at the genius bar assured me all of these Aluminum Macbooks are this way). So continuing with my story, I took the disc out when I was done and I heard slight clicking noises coming from the side where you put discs in. I closed the computer because I thought it would stop it, reopened it, and it was still doing it. So then I restarted it, and I didn't hear it. Now I'm hearing it every so often.

Feb 12, 2008I bought my iMac a few months ago and still can't get to watch what I need to for my business. I breed and own Thoroughbred Race Horses and need to be able to watch races on the web. The people in the store said sure no problem but I still cannot. I have downloaded Flip4Mac which seems to have failed miserably plus Real Player, Quicktime etc.

May 16, 2010I have a folder that's full of TV ad files (MPEG, WMV).
I'm sick of watching each individually, and I also didn't like the size that cover flow shoes when going through them by it.
Quick look is good, but sometimes it crashes on my computer (I don't know why).
Is there a solution by Quick time, that can run several videos, one after another? or maybe a way to use automator for that?
