I tried lot of things and i still having the problem, the page doesnt get open, just loading, and if i want to see one youtube video in other page i still cant, the video is black.I can saw all other videos in other format or in other site, but simply i cant open YOUTUBE!

A set of websites (all with the same beginning in their address) all stopped working from my computer. It works on other people's computers, and I can go to any other webpage just fine, but this one site just won't load. It won't load whether I'm using Firefox, Safari, or whatever. I tried repairing permissions, emptying the cache, deleting cookies, and turning the computer on and off. Still no luck, but it's just for those sites (and just my computer, as my neighbor can see the sites fine).

View 2 Replies View RelatedAll of the sudden my web browser (doesn't matter which one i use, I've tried firefox 3.5.3, firefox 3.0.9 and latest safari) crashes every time i visit youtube. As soon as I enter the site, the beach ball shows up and I have to force quit the browser. I have the latest version of flash. I'm not really sure what could be causing this and was wondering if anybody has had a similar problem and knows a fix.

Many websites, if not all the ones I frequent no longer load. Instead I'm left with a white page that loads instantly whether I click on via Google search results or direct input. But if I use Bootcamp into Windows 8.1 the internet works fine, which means something has gone wrong on the OS X side of things. I've tried using different browsers to no avail.Â
For example:
I wanted to Google "oru kayak reviews" and Google gave me all the usual results.
However, once I click on a link among the Google search results all I get is a white page and a url that reads: [URL] ...
Now if you click it you might get the resulting page, but for me its a white page.Â
Same thing applies if I were to type in directly to the address bar, like "theverge.com" for example all I get is a white page.
But for websites associated with Google or Apple for example, like YouTube and the Apple Forums here, they load just fine.Â
On my mom's Macbook Air and everyone's iPhones the internet appears to work just fine as well.Â
It seems whenever I launch a youtube video, there is a tremendous lag that occurs for a good 30 seconds before my video is able to be seen. It completely locks up my browser and freezes. Thought it was my iMac at first, buy Firefox works fine. I reset everything on Safari and still nothing.

When I log into my school's online classroom I can't get any attachments to open.I have tried Safari, Firefox and Opera.I have checked to make sure Java Script is enabled in all.I have checked to make sure my system is up to date. And I have checked all plug-ins and they are up to date.When I click on an attachment, like a file that my professor has uploaded, such as a study guide...nothing will open.It doesn't have an error message or anything. I began to have this same problem on my old MacBook within the last year...but I now have a brand spanking new MacBook Air (as in 1 week old) and it's worse than ever. Â
Extremely often - sometimes 2 out of 3 webpages, it seems - the browzer says it can't find the server or otherwise won't open a page (takes veeeery long to do so. Then eventually gives me a "can't find" screen when I try to click around.). There's nothing wrong w the internet - it works just fine on my husband's computer. Sometimes it helps to switch browzers but mostly not.

I've recently been having some trouble accessing certain websites from my macbook.
What happens is that once I enter the address for the particular website in my address bar and press return/ enter, the browser attempts to load the website, but cannot seem to do so, as if it is being blocked in some way. After a minute or so of trying, I usually get the message 'Page Load Error' accompanied by 'Network Timeout' or 'Failed to open page' in Safari. Changing browser does not seem to work (same results with Camino, FF, Safari, and Opera), and using VMWare Fusion running XP, I get the same thing.
My setup is white C2D macbook, connecting wirelessly to an AEBS. I have another desktop, and 3 other laptops, as well as an iPod Touch and PS3 on the network and all of these can access the sites as normal. Just to let people know, I also changed to OpenDNS and flushed the DNS cache.
Could anyone shed some light on why this is happening? Alternatively anything else I should be looking to do (besides reinstall of OSX)?
Apparently it takes forever to load youtube or anything else were you would stream video's. She use's her PC which loads them instantly and her mac takes 10-15 mins to watch a youtube video?

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Uncle just purchased a new Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard and he is having trouble accessing certain sites such as [URL] but has no problem accessing other sites like Apple or Google from Safari.
I tried to troubleshooting the issue by resetting Safari and by deleting the com.apple.safari.plist preference file in his home directory but he still has the problem.
I'm not sure if it is related, but I had to have him change the port from 5190 to 443 in iChat in order to connect to his AIM account so I could screen-share with him.
Also, he uses AOL mail and I was able to get it set up in Apple Mail but it is very sluggish to download.
He is using either Cisco or Linksys router and range extender and he said that his Windows computers have no problems connecting to any sites.
There's a certain website that I visit regularly, but I can't seem to be able to visit it ever since I downloaded the new Leopard 10.5.6. I restarted then tried to open it but it says "Safari can't open the webpage" and when I tried FireFox it said the same thing.
So I tried opening the site from another computer, it worked. I have a wireless network, the site isn't blocked or protected I was able to visit it right until I downloaded the new version of Leopard. I can do to open the site? Since I upgraded adobe, I haven't been able to open pdf's directly from websites--I just get a black screen (in Safari, or a white screen in Firefox). I can sometimes right click on the link and either download the pdf or save it as a document as a workaround to enable me to open it.

I have a problem opening emails thru msn messenger.
When I try to check my hotmail by clicking "mail" link on msn for mac, it tries to open the webpage within Word instead of safari!!!!!!!

I have windows XP Operating System, and I have safari installed, but when I open the browser, it hangs and displays a blank white page (without finishing opening any websites). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but this doesn't seem to work. Also, when I reinstall, all of my bookmarks and reading list are in tact. (although I think if it is officially uninstalled, then none of my bookmarks should be saved). Somehow, it seems to be saving the previous state of the last Safari installation whenever I reinstall.Â
