May 1, 2012Suddenly, I can not open YouTube downloads. Did I delete something? Or, is there a new install requirement?

May 18, 2010Apparently it takes forever to load youtube or anything else were you would stream video's. She use's her PC which loads them instantly and her mac takes 10-15 mins to watch a youtube video?

Safari :: Unable To Download Files, It Instead Tries To Open The URL Associated With The File?
May 17, 2012As stated in the title, when I try to download a file from the internet, clicking on the link associated to the file will not start a download, but instead opens a new tab in my browser showing the url of the associated file. If I then right-click and choose 'Download linked file as...' the file can be downloaded with no issues in most of the cases, at least as long as the website allows right-click downloads to happen.I have tried resetting Safari, emptying the cache and, of course, updating my software. It is a midly annoying problem, but it doesn't happen when I use other web browsers in my iMac.

MacBook :: Taking Too Long To Download YouTube Videos
Apr 8, 2012I have noticed that it is taking too long to download YouTube videos. I have tried a few things: emptied cache, reset Safari, downloaded OnyX and cleaned everything up I could. I also reset my wireless router, but those have not worked. I have also updated Adobe FlashPlayer, Flip4Mac, and checked for new updates from Apple. With all of that, nothing has seemed to work. Not sure what to do next.

Jun 17, 2014I have been trying to download adobe flash player so I can use youtube. I install it, open it in my downloads, Click install adobe Flash player, and then click open when it asks me if I want to open application downloaded from the internet. After I click open I put in my password, click next, then as adobe trys to download it will get to 50% the stop and say Safari needs to be closed to continue. However safari and everything is already closed. I am able to download Adobe Flash Player.

Dec 27, 2009I've iMac 27-inch and iPhone 3G. On both devices when I'm trying to watch YouTube video there is very slow loading, but only in my house.
Everything is wireless. I've got router Linksys WAG300N - maybe this is an issue? If yes how to solve it?
iMac always stays home, but when I tried to watch some videos on Youtube in school everything was very was.
Of course it is not because of my internet speed.
I have 6/7megabitb/s, so download speed is 750-800 kilobytes/s.

May 14, 2012I did as suggested earler to uninstall and reinstall adobe flash player. It works and when I tried to view videos on Photography it could not play the videos. It seems that the plug-in is missing. I am having this problem with my Macbook Air.
