How do I burn pictures to a disc for a windows user to view?

Whenever I burn pictures to a disc for some reason they duplicate. There will be two, three, four and sometimes even five copies of each picture or folder of pictures. What can I do to prevent this from happening. I would like to burn only one copy of each picture on the disc.

I have the macbook pro 13' and I want to burn some pictures onto a cd how do I do that.

I've been able to burn CD's for music and pictures and all of a sudden I'm getting a message when I click "burn" after I've pulled the pictures I want to burn and the message is saying "Insert Blank Disc to begin" then below it is says "This disc will burn the contents of the burn folder. You will need a disc with the capacity of at least 106.1 MB. It's a blank CD so I'm not certain why it won't burn.
View 1 Replies View Relatedme and my grandma are planning on getting a family pack MobileMe account to save money instead of having two accounts. She has a trial account currently, so from what I understand is tomorrow I go buy the family pack box set, set up my account (which will be the master account), cancel her account (disable synching on her iPhone before hand), add her account under account options in my account, and viola. Now here's my question:Since we will both be on the same 'family pack,' will she be able to view my emails, find my iPhone, pictures, or anything else? And vice versa. What I'm hoping is that even though they are in the same family pack, you will have to log in with each specific account (via password) to see mail, contacts, etc

Created iDVD with slideshow and music on my 5 yr old MBP.Tried to burn it to a Staples -R DVD disc.It appears to be burning for about 35 minutes, then with one minute left, it stops and ejects the disc.No error message. I saved the file as a Disc Image and was able to view it with the DVD player on my MBP.However, when I went to burn it to the disc, I got this message:"The disc can't be burned, because the device failed to calibrate the laser power level for this media."

View 2 Replies View RelatedI imported all of my photos to iPhone, great program. But when I go to my PICTURES folder under my user name in the finder, the only way to access the pictures is to open iPhoto. Is there a few to also have the files shown individually in my photos folder so I don't have to open iPhoto each time I want to view them?
View 24 Replies View RelatedIt's been a little while it says an error message when I try to open some of my pics:
The file "297275_10150338673995638_17125605637_10107621_387986_n.jpg" couldn't be opened because you don't have permission to view it. It tells me to go in finder and change settings...
But when I go it says 3 names: first one is read and write but it is not even my actual apple id, it was only for 2 minutes in the store when I bought it and then we changed the setting. Then there is "staff" in read only and "everyone" in read only. Even if I change it all to read and write it doesn't work, but anyway I am the only user of my computer... so whats up with that anyway?
I purchased a new iMac on July 2011 and it worked just fine. After a few of apples updates, I am no longer able to view most pics in safari and it also has trouble finding web page. Is it an osx issue so I can purchase lion? I am currently running the most recent snow leopard

I've been reading other support sites discussing this topic and I have yet to see anything that solves this issue. I have a DVD from a photographer with pictures on it. It works on a PC and a Mac running snow leopard. Lion WILL NOT read this DVD. It tells me it is a recordable DVD but does not show the pictures. I am highly annoyed that upgrading to this OS has created this issue. I don't want to go back to Snow Leopard just to view this DVD (and I don't know how to revert back to it either). I also don't want to put it on my ancient PC desktop just to view the pictures. My DVD player is just fine. It will play movies but not recognize the picture DVD.

Im able to rip movies and burn movies (DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-DL), iMovie videos, iTunes cds, rip audio discs, etc.
The media is Dual-Layer DVD-R in disk utility
I burn it at the slowest possible speed (on both systems) at 2.4x
After it writes the data to the disc and finishes, i get this lovely image:
I tried doing a test install of it from the burned dvd and it installed fine.... = what the huh!?

My friend ripped a CD via EAC into FLAC files, so that I could then burn a CD-R copy. I've done this multiple times without issue. However, with this current rip, the total file size is 708MB and does not fit on a regular CD-R disc. I'm a bit confused because all the files were ripped from a single Red Book CD. Is there anything I can do to reduce the total file size so that it fits on a CD-R disc (without removing one of the files)?

When trying to burn a DVD via Finder, I get an error message of 'error code:- 0x8002006E and the disc wont burn. One time the disc wouldn't eject but I finally manged to do this via Disc Utilities. I have also tried to burn the DVD through Disc Utilities but it seems to get stuck when trying to create a new disk .dmg file.I recently had to have a new graphics card installed, and have had a few problems since with sleep and mounting external drives. Could this be connected?Â

when you are in a playlist in iTunes and hit the burn button, does it burn an MP3 disc, or a standard audio disc that I can use in a car stereo?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI set up iDVD to burn a disc of my movie; it did so just fine. I saved the set up, then tried to reburn additional DVDs. It opened ok, but refused to burn anything-when it got to the "Burn" stage, it would display "recording finished" then lock up.
Are there some preferences I can trash on this, or what?
I obviously didn't choose my words correctly because everyone would rather pick apart what I said and did rather than acknowledging that...Apple sent me a scratched Snow Leopard disc. These things do happen so make sure you always backup your data and always check the disc before you put it in your computer. Even if its from a company you love and trust.

I create my own music and sometimes people ask if they can have it on a CD. Since I really do not want people to be able to rip it to their computer's I have denied these requests. However as the demand apparently grows and more people start asking I feel that I would really want to be able to share my music with them, securely. What I would like to do is burn a cd containing my music that people cant rip. I know there will always be some way of doing it, but fore the average computer user preventing mediaplayer/itunes from being able to rip the music will be enough to keep them from doing it.
