Oct 22, 2009I have a HP Photosmart C4200 Series (C4280 to be exact). I have recently installed Snow Leopard (was using Leopard before) and this printer shows as supported in Snow Leopard.The problem I'm having, is that when I go to print a document from Microsoft Word (Office 2008) for Mac, all I get are blank pages. I printed something from Text Edit and it comes out fine, but files from Microsoft Word come out blank. Also, the "Test" pages come out fine as well.
I have been printing files for months and months now from Microsoft Word, but this is the first time I have tried in Snow Leopard.Does anyone know what is going on? I really need to print stuff since its for school.

Dec 7, 2014Upgraded my iMac (2010) from Mavericks to Yosemite yesterday. Since when, anything I try to print to my Kodak printer grinds to a halt after there first few seconds of starting to print. The printer will print fine from another laptop. It will print test pages and direct photocopies all without a problem. Doesn't matter whether am connected via wireless or USB, the same thing happens. Am thinking I should possibly try to 'downgrade' back to Mavericks - if that is possible.

when i print more the 2 pages after each page the printer take out 2 blank page and than stops (i have to press its bottom to make it pull the next paper)
if i don't press the bottom or sometime in a middle of the printing page i get an error "the process usb stopped unexpectedly with status 81"
after a while the printer stops and i have to make it start again

Dec 13, 2008I wondered if it was in anyway possible to print wirelessly from my MacBook. Seems simple enough right? Well, the thing is I don't have a wireless printer. It's a normal inkjet Epson and it's connected via USB to my desktop which is running Vista Home Premium. Is there anyway I can somehow forward the document to my desktop and it'll start printing? Oh yes, my router is standard, it doesn't have any USB ports. Also anyone know any wireless HDDs? Time Capsules rather pricey especially in the current climate.

Nov 3, 2008I'm trying to connect my leopard macbook to a Canon Pixma MP210 that his hooked up to an XP machine. Sharing is enabled in XP on the printer and I can successfully add the printer to the mac in system preferences. I've downloaded the proper drivers from Canon's website and selected them for the printer. The problem is that when I try to execute a print job, the print queue comes up and hangs on status "printing."
Also, on the XP machine, the print queue recognizes a job is being requested but the status hangs on "spooling." The document never actually prints. Finally after a couple minutes, the print queue in the mac has an error stating: "Error Number : 311 Printer is in use or an error has occurred. If an error has occurred, eliminate the cause of the error."

May 12, 2012I have a Windows XP Desktop with a Epson Stylus S21 connected to it with bonjour downloaded onto it. Using the step-by-step guides, I've managed to connected my MacBook Pro to the printer over the system and have managed to print. The only problem is, when I do send a document to print from my MacBook it only prints out a blank page with nothing printed on it. I know that the two are connected as I can send things to print, and it's not an issue with the printer as my desktop is able to print fine.

Apr 27, 2009My Macbook recognizes the IP address of the network printer on the network I'm on here at the church I work at, but I cannot print to it because it requires an authentication track. When I click file>print in an excel sheet or a word document the print screen comes up. In the drop down menu where it says "copies & pages" there should be an option for an authentication track or number, but there is not. It is simply not there. There actually should be a lot more options but there are not. I simply have a few, scheduler, summary, layout, etc. What can I do to get to the point where I can authenticate to print on that printer?

The power cord was unplugged, although the battery was fully charged. I plugged in my Canon printer for the first time in over a year. It printed half a document, then the computer shut down. I pushed the power button and got the start up chord, but then it shut down again. Tried this a few times. Then I unplugged the printer and plugged in the power chord. it started, but it's very slow, and I keep getting the pinwheel.

[I'm running a MBA under 10.7.3, with latest iTunes (10.5.3).] Symptoms: The Home Page is completely blank except for right panels (Quick Links, Top Charts) and iTunes Store footer; all other tabs on top do the same, except for App Store page, which is completely blank.Connection to Store is fine--iPhone syncs w/o a problem, and I can see my apps, music, updates, etc., can even access my Wish List.Updates download w/o problems, but if I try to view page for an app, only the top part of the page loads, down to "What's New in version xxx". Everything below is blank--no views of app, no Reviews, etc.Category pages will load, but without any Thumbnails, only text, but Purchase buttons work.My iPhone connects and appears as it should--no problems at all.

Safari :: Its Loading Blank Pages?
Apr 24, 2012Since the latest update i can't load any pages in safari. The apple start page only loads a shortened version of the main page and then if i click on anything else nothing shows up. When i go to different websites i can see the title at the top of the page and sometimes the page even flashes to what the content is before going blank or green or whatever the background color that site has set. If i go to preferences and uncheck "enable javascript" i can get pages to load but its almost useless as i can't do much without it enabled, such as use my gmail, etc. Any ideas what could be causing this? I've run the flashback tool and that virus is not found. I've removed all extensions and reset cookies, reset safari and still nothing. If i use firefox i have no issues whatsoever so i'm not sure why safari is having issues.
