Safari :: Keep Google Search In Toolbar?
Apr 23, 2012Suddenly the toolbar at the top that shows the website and a spot to search google is gone. The only way I can access it is to go to Edit>Find>Google Search. Once I've searched the toolbar disappears again and then there is no "back" button, so if I need to search again I have to go back to Edit>Find>Google Search. UGH!

Aug 30, 2014decided to download some apps without paying attention and decided to download InstallMac into my Macbook Pro. I have done some previous research and installed the Adware Removal Tool and it did work delete some of the items, but I think there's still more to delete that the adware removal tool did not get. Â
Whenever I search something on Google Chrome, the address bar will show search.strtpoint.com before redirecting to my search. For example if I type the letters dasf in the search bar on Google Chrome it will show the url: [URL]
I've tried using Avast full system scan and many of the items couldn't be deleted. It would say, Unable to scan: 1675 items and about 37 infections and I believe this is all from the Install Mac that I've downloaded.

On iPad(7.1.2) Settings -> security & privacy, only Penultimate, Skitch and Evernote are allowed to access my calendar.Â
It is weird that Gmail can notify me any event I put on my calendar.

May 26, 2012My mac mini will not eject the cd. I partitioned the drive in order to install windows (cuz portions of our system are not Mac compatible). When I inserted the windows CD and rebooted, the mini only boots to a prompt but will not accept any commands from any input devices (none, zip, zero, nada, zilch). I need to be able to remove the CD that is now stuck without the use of external devices or figure out how to get the machine to recognize a command (external keyboard inputs are not working or recognized).

Feb 29, 2012This is a Mac Mini operating on OS 10.58. I have a CD in the combo drive, and it apparently has something recorded on it. I think this CD had started to be burned and I stopped it. The computer indicates that this CD is not blank. The result is that it will not eject, even after several attempts using the small eject arrow at the top of the desktop, the use of apple-E, and after repeated efforts with a complete shutdown -- still the disk is stuck in the drive. I suspect that it's in a loop situation, where it tries to run the CD with not effect, but it also cannot eject it.Â
I notice a small black square, appearing to be black plastic, at the far right end of the CD/DVD player slot at the top of the Mac Mini. In the old days there was such a hole into which one could stick a straight wire, like a heavy duty straightened paper clip, and it would physically eject a stuck disk. Is there such a thing on this Mac Mini?Â

I'm not sure what hapenned, I must have done something, but one day my address bar decided it wanted to play hide and seek and it won....the "show toolbar" option does nothing upon clicking it, neither does the "customize toolbar" option.

Mac Mini :: How To Remove Login Password From G5 Startup Screen
May 31, 2012I had to reinstall my software on the mini now I put the re install software that it came with and I filled all the forms out including my password which never changes in all my mac's then I went and upgraded by the disc to OSX 10.5 Leopard. All ok I used the time machine from the Power PC G5 which I am writing this on now by the way too put all my programs and itunes on.
All seamed ok but it said on the start up screen Power Pc G5. And when I went to put in my password it went and done the side too side wobble no I know my password and it never changes and I tried caps lock on and off but no go I never use caps lock anyway but I thought perhaps that was the problem. So I cannot get in to the computer now. Is there a way to reset the password.
