May 28, 2012I have two different iMacs: late 2011 and Mid 2010. Both imacs wifi stop working after sleep mode. ***?! Ipod and iphones work properly at is time. I have checked disk utils and fixed permissions. Everything is updated. Maybe there is the way to reenable wifi module without rebooting my computers?
Im very dissapointed apple imacs. Lcd of mid 2010 being changing for the second time. Last time it worked ok for 5 month. ***?! Is it ok for lcd screen? Or maybe I should turn into hackintosh to avoid poor-quality hardware? Rofl. **** I have only apple devices and starting nervous about it.

May 2, 2012I try to put my iMac (Lion) in the sleeping mode. The screen becomes black but the hard disk doesn't stop. I don't see any live process in the activity monitor. This problem was not there before and I have no idea to correct it.

This takes up a lot of time when working on several images.(enlarging the cursor size is not an answer and makes it worse because it's hard to exactly align the cursor with the text or else it edits the wrong line of text).

Dec 3, 2014After a few hours of uptime, certain keys on my keyboard stop working and I have to reboot: both command keys and the zero key. Sometimes, after the computer has been in sleep a long time, the keyboard and mouse don't respond at all. I can get the computer to wake up again by pressing the power key, but the mouse and keyboard don't respond, so I can't do anything except hard boot. This problem first appeared after the update to 10.10.1. (I'm dealing with it right now, so I'm getting the '0' through the keyboard viewer, but there's no way to access that from the password screen.)

Jul 13, 2010I am looking for a Remote Screen Sharing type of software that can be used for training and troubleshooting purposes and it needs to work on both Mac and Windows.
The situation I have is I use Mac only except for Windows running under VMWare but I will need to be doing work at home for an office that is 500 miles away and they use Windows only.
I want to be able to view the screen of the computer that is 500 miles away and also be able to control it such as using the mouse to walk the person using that computer through menus and doing work for training purposes. I also if possible want to be fully able to use the computer where I could view files, print files if possible, save files, even copy files to that computer and back to mine.

Apr 1, 2012My iMac doesn't turn off in the normal way any more. The system shuts down and the screen becomes black, but the fan keeps on running. And it deosn't stop! The only way to completely shut down everything is to hold the powerbutton.
I already have reinstalled Lion, but the problem is still prensent. I've got this iMac for around 6 months now, but this problem occured around 2 weeks ago. Before everything has been all right.

Jun 25, 2012Something happened with my work mail account and the mailbox was rebuilt. On my home pc the mail account is not synching up and it appears to be in a continuous recycling mode. I am unable to send any messages. Incoming mail is being received from my other accounts. I am also having problems with my id to y cox account. The system is asking for credentials again I enter them but for some reason it is not working.Â

Jun 9, 2012I've set up Gmail on my mac mail account but I cannot work out how to stop the spam mailbox getting hundreds a day. Its up to about 6000 now. I can of coruse just clear it out, but then I still keep getting messages in my 'Mail Activity' section saying that more mail is incoming and builds back up again.I know spam is not really a major issue if its just getting caught up in the rightful section anyway, but its just an irritant to get so much spam and seeing my Mail Activity box constantly active.
