Apr 18, 2012This a possible duplicate or similar message posted a few minutes ago.  I'm not sure it posted and it's not showing yet. I have an iMac 20 inch Late 2006 MA589WA I'm running OX 10.7.3Â
It has Intel Core 2 Duo
1 Processore, 2 Core
L2 Cache 4 mb
Memory 2mb
Buss speed 667 Â
The memory seems to be about 80% filled according to a chart I saw earlier. I back up everything to Time Machine and suppose I could clean the disk of all but applications making sure I had properly saved all my records, letters, papers written and songs and see if that does it but I'm much rather find a simpler fix from the community if any of you have similar problems and have solved them.Â

Apr 7, 2012I'm in the process of cleaning up duplicates on the HD. What I want to know "positively", is Trash Bin fully isolated, and cannot be accessed/used by OS X 10.7.3 when exercising applications resident on the HD.

MacBook Pro :: Keyboard And/or Top Case Cover To Eliminate Aluminum Reflection?
Jun 25, 2012Getting a new MacBookPro with high res anti-glare screen.I type with two fingers, and often look at the keyboard. Â
For eye comfort, and to prevent retinal after-images, I'd like all the aluminum dull black. I found tape and fabric to cover up most of the top case and the bezel, but the keyboard is a challenge. KBCovers does not produce a keyboard cover which will be black at the bases of the keys and clear over the keys, which would allow the backlit keyboard to transmit.  So first choice is a keyboard cover which has black everywhere there's aluminum, and has clear for the keys.  Second choice is an all clear keybooard cover and I'll adhere black to the aluminum around the keys (and top case).Â
Anyone aware of such keyboard covers ?Â

Never understood Apple's engineering design of making a screen anti-glare and anti-reflective, while making the remainder of the computer glaring and reflective and contrasting. Ye olde black MacBook is such an eye-pleasing and comfortable design.

I've tried left-clicking an address and selecting "Remove address," but that seems to only remove it from the "To" field.

I want to put some text on top of/into the pic. What is a SIMPLE and EASY TO USE app where I can open the pic and type in the text and do some formatting? I do not want a 'template' app. The one's in pages don't work for this project. Oh, I want it to be able to use the fonts I have. A program that gives me limited fonts is NOT going to work. Â

May 14, 2012I'm relatively new to the world of Apple. I have an iMac running Mac OS X, version 10.6.8. I stored photos from my PC onto a NexStar CX external HD. A friend told me I should be able to access them from my iMac but when I plugged it in I get this message: Â
