Intel Mac :: Won't Grab Flagged Mails In MacBook Pro
May 29, 2012I buy the new iMac with i7 and I'm running a migration using the assistant from MacBook Pro to the new one. I have my doubt in how to grab all the messages I have in my mails in this migration. I have like 2000 mails from several years that I store in the mail of my MacBook. I can't imagine if the Migration assistant just pass my documents and won't grab my flagged mails in the MacBook Pro . The migration didn't still runnig so I'm not sure what is going to be after all end. By the way I do this with a USB connection frim one to the other. Is any body know about my inquirie of the mails?

Jan 17, 2010Lately was experiencing a very bad malfunction from my PowerBook G4 drag and drop. As far as I know for this feature, we are able to drag then hold while we move our mouse over to a desired folder or destination, that selected folder will spring up it's internal folders' view. However this seems not to be working any further. Anyone knows what could be the issue? I was unable to find this piece of advise from else where and hence decided to seek advises from here.

Jun 28, 2012I have previously used the GRAB utility to take a snapshot of an open Safari windiw, and the snapshot included the entire windiw contents. When I opened the snapshot in Preview, I could scroll up and down and view the entire contents of the original Safari windiw. Then, I tried it again a few hours later on a different Safari window, but I then got only the part of the windiw that was visible in the browser at the time that I GRABbed the window (i.e., when I took the snapshot).What do I need to do to get the entire windiw?

Sep 28, 2006I use grab quite a lot on my ibook g4, but to get to it i have to open up preview and go through file>grab which is annoying. I would do it through the application menu by going Safari>Services>Grab but on all the programs, this option is greyed out and i can't access grab through that menu.

On linux you can hold down "alt" then click anywhere on a window and the cursor becomes a "hand" so you can grab and move a window around. It makes it easier especially on a laptop so you don't have to move the cursor up to the border.

I have a 500 gig music library and hundreds of playlists etc, so I'd hate to have to reinstall iTunes and lose all that. Is that what would happen if I reinstalled iTunes? Nov 24, 2009I used GRAB to grab a couple of maps off of mapquest. I couldn't find them afterwards and I discovered they were in dashboard. Wierd??
Now I can't get rid of them. I've tried dragging them to the trash, clicking on them, trying to find them in the Finder. Nada. Nothing. I can't figure out how to get rid of them. When I clicked on one of them the entire machine froze and I had to turn the power off to get it to start up again.

I see it in the Hardware>disk burning section clearly showing it is being seen, of course with , Media: No [URL] to this thread, Ettor was able to get it working with some sort of software tweak, which may or not may not apply to my Cube system .
Only thing im not positive about , is if my HD is set to master or slave, but I imagine if it weren't right in combo with the Optical drive, then hardware list would not be showing it at all ?

Mar 6, 2012My 4 year old macbook air has become nearly unmanageable when playing on-line bridge. The cursor flits all over the cinema screen tho is stable on the laptop lcd. Also, the wifi drops off intermittantly, and takes upto 2 minutes to refind. The software is original, but up-to-date.

May 26, 2012So I've just about run out of memory on my MAC, actually, I have! I was able to delete some things and it's already functioning much better. What is taking up so much space are my photos. I have an external drive I would like to move them all to and everything I look up says it's as easy as a drag and drop. The only problem is I'm unable to drag and drop. Nothing at all happens when I try to do that. I've tried it off of Finder with just one item and nothing will move at all.
