Apr 11, 2012My email will not stay deleted, nothing goes to trash and while I see the messages disappear as I delete them, if I quit inbox and come back, they're back! Ive tried going offline and deleting; doesnt work. I recently upgraded to Lion trying to avoid this very issue: email problems. I have an IMac.

Is there a way I can retrieve this sentence or do I have to start over? In my old Outlook Express on my Dell pc, I could arrow back to find anything that accidentally deleted while composing.

Because of this I am unable to update the OSX Lion software and now If I try to update/download the version from the Apple Store I will be charged again, because earlier on the OSX Lion page in the Apple App Store the option mentioned was either Install or Download, but since the deletion of the file from the purchase section the option shows $29.9. Why should I buy it again when I had already purchased the software. Is there a way to retrieve my previous purchase. I was given an option from the Apple App Consumer Support that downloading and paying for the software again is the only option.

Apr 25, 2009I just set up my new iMac, migrated everything from my MacBook Pro, and everything works EXCEPT Mail. I have configured my MobileMe settings to synch everything, and online, everything is there: contacts, all old email, etc... but Mail doesn't show any of this stuff, nor will it retrieve or synch any of my email accounts. Also, I have to Force Quit it everytime to exit the program.
Could this be something with the Preferences file, or .plist file?

I have one draft message that refuses to be deleted. When I highlight it and hit delete, it just turns grey and does not delete. I can add new drafts and delete them just fine. any ideas? I have tried clearing the user cache to no avail.
