Intel Mac :: Error : Unable To Connect To The Database:Could Not Connect To MySQL
Jul 3, 2012
Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL I just started to receive this message, when I try to go to this one website. What caused this? and how can I fix this problem? I an geet to website using other browsers.
For the last day and half, I've been unable to access my iCloud email through Mail on Lion. I get the following error:Â
The server returned the error: The connection to host p03-imap.mail.me.com on port 143 failed.
According to the system status, iCloud Mail did have an issue but apparently they think it's resolved. why I'm still getting an error? I have no problems accessing iCloud Mail on any other devices or through Safari.
Info: iMac 3.06 GHz 24, Mac OS X (10.7), 4 Gigs RAM
I'm looking for a Mac desktop application that will allow me to edit MySQL databases that are located on a web server. Kind of like PHPMyAdmin, only as a desktop Mac application.
I don't know what's wrong with it.My ipod touch connects just fine and yet when i try to connect my new macbook it won't allow me to connect.I've never owned a macbook - so i have no idea how to fix this.
I currently have the network setup assistant running and configuring - but it's been about an hour and it hasn't done anything. Is there something else i need to do?
I just downloaded Diablo III, and tryed to install it, it didn't work and i constantly got this Blizzard Launcher can't connect to the internet error. I tryed redowloading the game 2 times, i tryed closing all unnerserssary programs but it wouldnt work. So i went on Skype and called some friends and chatted for around an hour. Then i open Minecraft, and when i join a server, My iMac's screen just freezes. i can still hear my friends over skype and i can still use all the keyboard commands to lower or raise the volume. But other than my mouse and the lighting nothing moves on my screen. I tryed restarting. Didn't work. I can still hear the background programs like Skype and spotify opens but the screen is just all white with some small grey boxes here and there. I tryed taking the wire out and hold the on/off button in for 10 seconds, didn't work either.Does anyone know what to in my situation? Should i go to the applestore and get it fixed? (The nearest Applestore is 2 hours of driving away)
Our iMac running OS X 10.5.8 has several problems, some of which may be related.Â
1. The hard disk is close to full. I am not sure this is the root problem. I would like to either find junk files that I can delete (sort of like disk cleanup in Windows) or copy some old, but possibly still useful, files to a CD or an external hard drive, but I have not been able to do so.Â
2. I cannot connect via WiFi to my home LAN. If I try to connect, I get an "invalid password" error message, even though I am using the same password that other devices are using to connect successfully.Â
3. I cannot open iTunes because an unknown error occurs (13014). Â
The problems started when we tried syncing an iPad and the process would not stop. Then there was a temporary power outage. Â
We have also recently tried adding a Time Capsule to our home network. I am not sure that it is configured properly. I want to continue to use our older router for WiFi but use the Time Capsule for backing up Macs.Â
Since one week impossible to connect my imac10.6.8 with internet .my fai told me to change my modem:done .Airport find the wifi but it is unstable or it is impossible to connect.but i dont have any problem with my ipad...

Suddenly am unable to connect my wireless mouse and trackpad ... The Bluetooth option is also missing ... Am running os x with all the latest updates ..
We are attempting to connect a new iMac to a Vivitek 963HD projector. The image will not fill the screen. We are sending 1920 x 1080 @ 60hz. Using a test generator, the screen is full. Switching to the iMac, the image shrinks to the left.Â
One fine day, my iMac running Mavericks 10.9.2 has stopped connecting to internet over WiFi. it is self assigning an IP to itself and refuses to do a DHCP handshake with my router. My other wifi devices can connect to this network without any issues. So us the same iMac when it runs Windows 8.1 on the boot camp partition. I have tried the following fixes, but to no avail:
1. Delete the location 2. Delete networks 3. Reset DHCP 4. Restore Mac to a previous restore point where it used to connect to internet without any issues.
Info: iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
I've spent the past few hours attempting to connect my new Windows 8.1 laptop to my iMac's Airport signal without any success. Â I was able to do this very thing using Windows 7 on an old laptop. From what I've been reading, it seems that the ability to connect to networks secured with "WEP-Shared" type security has been removed in Windows 8 because of the fact that it was outdated and insecure. It's great that Microsoft is trying to force individuals to be secure, but unfortunately the iMac's airport utility does not offer any alternatives.
I keep getting an error message "Database Daemon Fatal Error" when trying to open Entourage 2008. I tried removing and re-installing Office, but each time I open Entourage I keep getting the same message: the Database Daemon has encountered an unknown error. The daemon will need to quit, and Entourage may need to be force quit.
I have a blackbook (intel core 2 duo) and I can connect to my landlord's wireless network (they have a netgear wgt624) but I can't actually use the web (Safari or Firefox will just "think"). I've tested the diagnostics and it confirms that my mac can connect to the network, but it cannot connect to the internet. The network uses WPA personal and it has a 19-aphanumeric passphrase.
*Also - would it be possible for me to extend the wireless range (and make it possible to browse the web) if I used my own 2wire wireless modem to connect to the netgear wgt624?
(Using OSX 10.5.7 on MacBook, Comcast cable modem):For the pst 24 hours I have not been able to connect to my Entourage email account, which denies every combination of letters and numbers, upper and lower case, of my formerly reliable password. System tries to log in, then gives me the error message "invalid username/password." I can't find a "forgot password" link or otherwise change the password. If I try Mac mail I get "system timed out." I can use webmail to get password but not Entourage or Mac Mail.
When I try to connect to folder shared by my windows computers, it says "Sorry, the operation could not be completed because of an unexpected error occurred (Error Code -41). It was still working fine yesterday.
I have been getting the below error when i try to send an email out through the mail client. It was working just fine till this evening and now its all gone downhill...Â
i tried this afternoon to connect two Mac OX Lion Clients ( macbook pro ) to our existing Mac MIni Server Opendirectory.
In both caes i got the error message:Â
Die Verbindung zum Verzeichnisserver konnte nicht hergestellt werden. – 2100Â
The Lion server is running and our other two clients can use network accounts without any problem. The certificate at serverside is self signed and all machines are running Lion and are updated to current relaese level.Â

What i did was open the ipod through mycomputer (windows XP) and cut the folder that contains all my music and pasted it into mydocuments so i had full amount of memory on my ipod to use it as a memory device. I gave it to my friend to put some videos into my ipod again through mycomputer. He didnt allow the ipod to sync on his itunes. Now i have it back i plugged it into my pc and my itunes couldnt pick it up and neither can mycomputer. I left it plugged in and restarted my pc when it booted up i opened itunes and it was sort of froze, after leaving it for a minute or two my ipod cam e up on itunes but it said it was corrupt. I ran the restore over night as it was taking along time and when i cam back this morning it was still doing it! Whats wrong with my ipod?! is there any other way to system reset it? do you think my mate should have synced it with his pc?
I buy the new iMAC 21.5" - core 2 duo - 3.06Ghz Im having a problem with a GREY SCREEN ERROR sometimes (almost ever) when im connect or re-connect through Airport. Sometimes dont have problem when I connect, sometime yes. I dont know WHY. Im copy the crash report:

It is on my home network which I have been using for months. I have made no changes to my router or network setting. Other devices will still connect to the wifi with no problem and I connect through the ethernet connection with no problem. I have disabled the wifi and restarted my computer with no luck.
My Dad is currently unable to connect to the Internet with his Mac.
He's using Mac OS X Version 10.4.11. It connected fine this morning but he's been unable to connect this afternoon or this evening. A message keeps popping up saying: "Could not find a PPPoE server". I've tried running through the wizard for setting up the connection but it doesn't seem to work.
I've been using my PC online all day with no problems.
Used migration assistant to transfer data from G4 which may have been my first mistake...however it's done. Before transfer I was able to access my mac mail, however after transfer I'm unable to.
My isp is comcast. They have not been able to help me. We have gone over preference settings, and that is not the problem.
Ok this issue has been plaguing me for months and I just can't resolve it. I have an iMac (early 2008, supports wake on wireless) with Snow Leopard basically providing all of our services like iTunes, files etc. After the blasted thing falls asleep, when I try to connect to it in Finder with my macbook it'll say "connection failed". If I go wake it up, everything will work fine. I have an Airport Extreme (dual band). It'll show the machine available in finder while it's sleeping, I just can't wake it up. The option "Wake for Network Access" is selected on the Imac. Not sure why it won't wake up. At first the iMac was connected via airport wireless. I tried connecting the ethernet port to a base station and disabling wireless instead but the same issue exists.
