Dec 8, 2010I've bought my 11.6 inch MacBook Air a few weeks ago and I am really unsatisfied with the battery life I get.The reviews I read before I made the the purchase claimed that the battery life in basic usage like web browsing or watching videos was even higher than apples claimed 5 hours.I've tested my MacBook Air's battery and it lasts about 3.3 hours during video playback with wifi and bluetooth turned off and no USB devices attached to it.

Problem is I need a client such as a Windows Remote Desktop Connection. Where if I connect to the Mac from home it just allows me to use the session and not take up a lot of bandwidth for screen sharing. People in the office do not need to know what project i'm working on. Â

IMac Intel :: Unable To Turn On System / General Power Was Turned Off For Some Minutes`
Jul 1, 2009my iMac won't turn on. The day before yesterday happened the same thing, but after a few tries with the power button, it eventually turned on - and all ok yesterday. Both the day before yesterday and today, the general power was turned off for some minutes, but the iMac wasn't running. So now, I've tried to reset the SMC, removing everything attached, but nothing.
At least I can clearly hear the tic tic tic button, probably of the timer, because I set up a schedule to let it turn on at a certain hour. What can I do? It's a white iMac, never had a problem.

Mar 23, 2012I have a 3rd party bluetooth keyboard that works fine on m iphone, When I try to connect it to my Mac, the keyboard is discoverable as "Bluetooth Keyboard" where it always fails at the pairing process. "The pairing attempt was unsuccessful. This configuration of Mac OSX and bluetoot software could be invalid or unsupported." The bluetooth on my Mac connects fine to my trackpad. Is there any reason why this shouldnt work on my Mac and is there any way to get it working?

Mar 4, 2008I have a bluetooth mouse and keyboard that I want to share between a PC and MBP via a DVI/USB KVM switch. I think I can do this by plugging a USB Bluetooth dongle into the KVM's USB input.
If I use the MBP's built-in bluetooth then when I switch from one computer to the other via the KVM, the keyboard and mouse will stay paired with the MBP; but if I disable the built-in hardware then the dongle can provide the bluetooth capability and be switched between the computers.

IMac :: Intel Mouse Freezes - Bluetooth Going Bad?
Feb 7, 2008Has anyone had a problem with their Intel iMac mouse freezing after it wakes up from being asleep. Check my sig for specs. In particular, we have a wireless mighty mouse and everytime you wake the computer from sleep, the mouse won't work. That includes taking out the batteries and putting them back in. Keyboard still works. Is the bluetooth going bad? Could it be the mouse? We're going to schedule an appointment with the Geniuses here in Memphis so maybe they can figure something out.

How do you get the iMac to recognize, say, the Option key?
