Applications :: How To Make Video Lecture With Slideshow
Nov 23, 2009
online lectures with powerpoint slideshows. I am just wondering what would be some of the best ways to go about doing that.Basically, I would like to show my slides along with a voiceover lecture on them. I also would like to have the option of showing my face perhaps. I have a 15" MBP Penryn from right before the unibody came out.
I have iLife 08 and want to make a slideshow with a combo of photos and videos with music in the background. Will either iPhoto or iMovie handle this task by itself or am i going to have to use a combo of both?
I've never used iMovie 08 but I have a Mothers Day project I want to try. Will this work?
I want to take a bunch of photos from iPhoto, make a slideshow with them using dissolves, fades and cuts for the video. For the audio I want to use a song I have in iTunes.
Can I do this using iMovie 08, or even another app from iLife 08?
I have a huge project for a national competition that I am making a video for as an introduction to our keynote presentation. I am looking for a program that can make a slideshow by dumping in photos then able to export as a .mov or other format to incorporate into my movie for the presentation (instead of doing it by hand).
Boom Recorder states that it won't work on SL so... I out of luck.I know I could just type down the lecture but I would like to record at the same time. Recording Pen that records as you write something on the specialized notebook would be perfect but I am looking for something similar that I can use on my Macbook.
i had my friend send me some lecture presentations by email. they are all in .key format and unfortunately i have a hp netbook. i need someone to just quickly export the 4 lecture presentations into .ppt format so i can quickly jott down the notes and finish cramming for my exam. id get him to do it but he wont answer!
I need to make a slideshow with a ton of impact, I have about 80 images and and what we have now is very basic, check it out .its way too slow for the amount of pictures takes an eternity to get through. We found this slideshow on the net.its very effective and you can see our pictures in a minimal amount of time. Only problem is i have no idea how to replicate this effect, I was thinking maybe premier pro but have had a look and cant get anywhere close to it.
Want to make professional looking wedding slideshow. What SF should I use? I don't want to make it using iphoto or anyother 1button generated slides. I want some to add audio as well.
I just got my mac. I want to make a slide show of photos and burn to a dvd for my "non-tech" parents to play in their dvd player. What's the easiest way.
I had a iMac 24" be for they broke in my HOUSE! So i was thinking that this would be a upgrade. I've burned over 12 disc now and none of them will play. So this iMac 27" OS X 10.9.4 has wasted my TIME & MONEY. I'm just trying to make a slideshow from iPhoto export with music to a DVD, and when i put in my player all i get is UNKNOWN DISC. Keep me in mind, i may be selling THIS ONE.
I have a folder of .PNG files, which i rendered from 3DS Max, and am now looking for a way to make them into a video, i did this once using adobe premiere elements while in college once, but i dont have that software anymore.
I tried dragging all the files into iMovie, but when i click play each frame zooms in, then out, and each image stays on for about 4 seconds each D:
Very simple. I just want to be able to upload a photo to a song and upload it to youtube. i want people to listen to the song and have the album art cover.
As many of you may or may not have realized, iTunes has an annoying habit of not letting one import any video files not in "iTunes friendly" formats. This confounded me as iTunes presumably used Quicktime for playing... so if Quicktime+Perian/Flip4Mac can play them, why can't iTunes? Sick and tired of having to convert AVIs and other downloaded video types for the sake of having them in iTunes, I sought out a way of fooling iTunes via tweaking the File Type / Creator settings on files so that iTunes would accept them.
Start out by choosing the app/utility of your choice. I use FileBuddy (search here for it) but any number of utilities are capable of doing the job.
I then open up File Buddy, drag the video file/s into the main window and then click "Get Info". In the resulting window, near the bottom right is a pull-down menu labelled "Type". Whatever it is currently set to (in my AVI case, it was "VfW"), change it to "MooV" and click "Save" (or "Change All" if you are dealing with multiple files). Voila! Drag the old files into iTunes and there you go!
I'd like to send a colleague a keynote on a DVD. I thought it would be cool to see me at the same time in a small frame presenting the keynote live, like the feature in ichat theater. I looked in iMovie and in Keynote but didn't find anything.
I have assembled a sideshow for my wedding in iMovie.
I need to get this sideshow onto a DVD now to take with me to the reception. I have read from others to use iDVD. I quickly tried and i lose the music when I do it. Anyone have any ideas how to easily make a DVD from my iMovie sideshow that is synced to music?
I have set up a few slides in Keynote 09, but I am having difficulty previewing the slides in the slideshow mode.
The video tutorial for Keynote 09 says to highlight the first slide, and then click onto Play button at the top of the menu bar. I have also set up an effect and duration time for each slide, and I have set Start Transition to "Automatically," with a delay of 0.5 seconds.
As a result, when I attempt to preview the slideshow, one of the slides in the middle of the slideshow is hightlighted, and then the process suddenly stops.
how to correctly set up the slideshow within Keynote 09 so that the slideshow can be previewed, and ultimately played, in automatic mode.
I am making a slideshow in iPhoto as a birthday present for my mother and would like to make the first slide one with birthday wishes, etc. on it. How do I create and add this type of slide to iPhoto???
I've been trying to burn a DVD from iPhoto's slideshow.
From reading a thread here, I export the Slideshow to iMovie. Which is made into a .mov flie. Then I add some stuff and edited the movie under iMovie. But then I couldn't find a way to burn it unto a non-computer playable format. So I export it from iMovie to iDVD.
So far seems alright.... ready to burn the DVD and all..... but here's the problem:-
1) The oginal photos are around 500MB, after I made it into .mov file... it's like 800MB. After I edited it under iMovie (Just some extra text and all) it became a whopping 9.5GB!!! Too large even for a blank DVD...Have I done anything wrong?
2) Picture quality on iPhoto was excellent.. but when made into .mov the quality was awful...... Anyway to improve the quality?
I am trying to burn a slideshow onto CD/DVD so it will play on my TV. I would like to keep my chosen music I have selected for each slideshow. If I export it then the quality is very poor. Is there a way of me achieving my goal?
Ive created a slideshow on iPhoto, of a recent vacation. Ive configured it with music, etc. Can someone please explain to me how I can burn it to a DVD?
Is it possible to burn a slideshow with music to CD-ROM? It needs to be playable on both Mac and Windows computers.I've tried iDVD, but it won't burn to CD-ROM (kind of figured it wouldn't, but I thought it was worth a try).
Is there a way to add multiple songs to an iPhoto slideshow? I know there is a way to make the slides fit ONE song, but its kind of lame that you can add more than one song. Also, is there a viable way to change the duration of each slide?
I am trying to Email a slideshow I made recently in iPhoto to another Mac user.
However, I cannot figure out if this is possible. I also tried to file transfer it to her via iChat file transfer, but no luck with this either.
Do either of these two methods (regular email or iChat file transfer) enable me to send a slideshow to someone? If not, is there any other way I can do this?
I simply find it very hard to believe that there is no way whatsoever to send someone a slideshow, especially another mac user with iPhoto.
