Is there a way to add multiple songs to an iPhoto slideshow? I know there is a way to make the slides fit ONE song, but its kind of lame that you can add more than one song. Also, is there a viable way to change the duration of each slide?
In regards to creating a slideshow using iPhoto, is it possible to integrate multiple songs from iTunes into a slideshow using iPhoto '08? What about the newest version of the application, iPhoto '09?
I am trying to make a slideshow for my dad's 60th birthday. I have the pictures loaded and in order and I have a play list from my itunes that I am using. I want to shorten the lengths of the songs though. I don't want the whole slide show to be to just one or two songs. Is there a way to play songs for a certain amount of slides or to make a song play for 1 minute instead of say 4 minutes?
I am making a slideshow in iPhoto as a birthday present for my mother and would like to make the first slide one with birthday wishes, etc. on it. How do I create and add this type of slide to iPhoto???
I've been trying to burn a DVD from iPhoto's slideshow.
From reading a thread here, I export the Slideshow to iMovie. Which is made into a .mov flie. Then I add some stuff and edited the movie under iMovie. But then I couldn't find a way to burn it unto a non-computer playable format. So I export it from iMovie to iDVD.
So far seems alright.... ready to burn the DVD and all..... but here's the problem:-
1) The oginal photos are around 500MB, after I made it into .mov file... it's like 800MB. After I edited it under iMovie (Just some extra text and all) it became a whopping 9.5GB!!! Too large even for a blank DVD...Have I done anything wrong?
2) Picture quality on iPhoto was excellent.. but when made into .mov the quality was awful...... Anyway to improve the quality?
Ive created a slideshow on iPhoto, of a recent vacation. Ive configured it with music, etc. Can someone please explain to me how I can burn it to a DVD?
I am trying to Email a slideshow I made recently in iPhoto to another Mac user.
However, I cannot figure out if this is possible. I also tried to file transfer it to her via iChat file transfer, but no luck with this either.
Do either of these two methods (regular email or iChat file transfer) enable me to send a slideshow to someone? If not, is there any other way I can do this?
I simply find it very hard to believe that there is no way whatsoever to send someone a slideshow, especially another mac user with iPhoto.
I have made a slideshow before and added music to it but now it will not let me. I have to music in a folder in itunes but I can not select it. Then when I play back the Slideshow it says "Slideshow Music. the music you selected cant be found or cant be opened.".strange it worked before..its an mp3.anyone know?
I have made a book in iPhoto, which I can export as a movie to include in iDVD. Where can I edit the duration that a page is shown during a slideshow? With a 'normal' iphoto slideshow this is made possible by settings.
Anyone know how to locate multiple files/songs in iTunes? All of a sudden iTunes only plays some songs while most say it can't be found, would you like to locate it etc. I know I have all the songs in the iTunes Music folder but how do I let iTunes know that they are all there instead of going through each and every song manually? Is there a way other than Adding all the songs back into the library?
iMac running OSX 10.9.4 on a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 27" with 16G RAM and 1TB HD. I have gone though the list of controls on the slideshow menu to no avail. I have pictures of our vacation to New York that are light hearted, but I also have pictures of the Ground Zero and 911 Commemorative Museums that I would like to change the theme music to a Mozart dirge and then back to other songs that better represent what the pictures are about.
Info: iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 27" iMac, 2TB Buffalo external HD,
slideshow preset does not display list of itunes songs for music to accompany slide show (it did use to do this perfectly satisfactorily). Clicking to open itunes does not work.
I want it to look exactly like it does on iphoto. I read somewhere they said to share it with idvd, but it does not look the same. Everything is different from the music to the way the pictures are changed and the timing. Is there a way I can burn it from iphoto (the slide show) to a dvd? If not why is it not the same on idvd?
I may be missing something here so if it's obvious I apologise..
In iPhoto 09 I've created an album of images I would like to use as a slideshow and send that slideshow to iDVD. So, I select all the images, press the slideshow Play button and the slideshow plays. I can change the theme etc, but can't see a way to save this or share to iDVD whilst retaining the slideshow settings.
Am I being really really stupid or is the Slideshow in iPhoto 09 a "view only" from within iPhoto and can't be saved and exported?
I think it may have been possible in 08 but I'm not sure.
Ultimately I want to create 3 x different Slideshows using 3 of the new 09 themes and send them to iDVD, but can see how to save/export/share the slideshow whilst retaining the settings I choose.
I have created a slideshow containing some photos of me and my fiance. Now I need to save this slideshow as a file. I tried to look at the settings and other places to figure it out but unfortunately couldn't do it.
I need this for a little slide in our wedding and it would be much appreciated if anyone have an idea about it.
I haven't received iLife 09 yet, but I was wondering if one EVENT can have multiple PLACES in iPhoto, eg. a holiday in France with photos taken all over the country.
I cannot select more than one photo because only one (very large) photo appears in the window where I normally select them. The slide bar (bottom right) is not the problem as it is set on the smallest photo size setting.
I'm trying to connect my MacBook to my tv to play a slideshow in iPhoto. I've got just a regular old MacBook and got a mini-DVI to video adapter, as well as a male-male s-video cable to connect the computer to the tv. It gets all connected and on the tv I go to the setting to view it and all I get on the tv screen is the blank desktop, no icons or anything. The only thing that will show up on the tv from the computer is when I go to the display preferences to change the resolution setting. Now, I know the resolution of the computer doesn't totally match that of the tv but past that and the fact that I have them physically connected right now... Why isn't anything from the computer showing up on the tv??
So, I've created a slideshow, and want to fit music to it. However, whenever I try to do so, the program insists on lingering on the first slide for a full thirty seconds before going on to the next slide. This shouldn't be necessary to make the music fit - all subsequent slides are at just over 5 seconds, and if all slides were just slightly longer than that, it would easily fit. Even if I delete the last slide, it simply makes the subsequent slide lasts 30 seconds.
I'm new to mac and I wanted to know if it's possible to use the slideshow I created using iPhoto as my screensaver WITH the selected theme and song.
I tried using it, but it changes my theme and song. I want to know it there's a way I can put it up as screensaver without the my selected song and theme changed.
I am having trouble adding my iTunes playlist to my slideshow...working in iPhoto 08 and have followed directions per manual. Either it plays one song from the playlist I created or it plays nothing.
I cannot get iPhoto out of slideshow mode. It's been playing the same two photos over and over again. Pressing escape does nothing and the same with command Q. I can't get to either bar to force quit iPhoto.
Slideshow keeps hanging on my iMac. I have updated the app, but still not working. It seems to hang on the same photo, does that make it a problem with that particular file?
I created a slideshow with itunes music added in iphoto. I tried the recommended free "burn for mac" software download. It burned a dvd but, this will not play on my dvd player for tv. What software title can I purchase that will burn my iphoto slideshow to a dvd that will play on typical home dvd player for tv AND on a windows pc?
Info: iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)
