Is there something that can append two videos together in a batch mode? We have a lot of video we need to add a little video trailer to the end of it.There has to be something that can operate in a batch type of mode where you can give it a bunch of video and then append a trailer on the end of each one.
View 1 RepliesI'm looking for a way to rename a batch of 30,000 photos. I have renamer but I don't think it does what I need it to do. I want to append the file name with the folder path. The photos are organized in folders which give info I want to make part of the filename itself (country, city etc.)
I am sure there is a way but...don't know how. Freeware or native apple way preferred over having to buy a new program.
I didn't know the iTunes Music store had a downloadable movie trailer section. Since when did they have this?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have my media on a NAS (Qnap 451) and have added my existing videos to my library (without copying them locally to my library), and of course they show up as home videos. I know how you are supposed to change theinfo for multiple files, I select them all and choose get info and change the options tab to Movie. When I do that nothing happens at all, I can do the files one at a time and they change fine, but if I even select just two files it doesn't work.

So I was sleep deprived (school work) and I copied a folder from an external drive to the internal one and I forgot what OS X asked me.
Now when I check the folder that I dropped my folder into (they have the same names...external drive folder is older) it overwrote the whole folder and deleted the newer files in the destination folder?
I must be doozy right now or something is going on.
Does OS X actually never append files? Even if I overwrite a folder??
Anyway to recover these files?
It's about 30 hours of work
I haven't written anything back to the drive yet so...
When I email myself a photo from my iphone to my gmail or me account. The photos all append themselves with photo.jpg. I get photos from friends and it's the same issue. How do i correct this? Is it suppose to be like this?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a bunch of movie trailers in a stack on my dock. Every so often when I click on a movie trailer, the video won't appear on the screen for about 10 seconds or longer. It's as if I hadn't click on the trailer to play. Once the video appears I can play it without a problem. Then every trailer that I play after that, opens immediately. Is this normal? Anyone else have this happen to them? I have repaired permissions several times.

I have thousands of text files that are named with random unique numerical ID in a specific folder. The problem is I want to be able to do quick sort of the files by a category. The category of each text file is always written as the fourth line of each text file. I would like to write an Applescript to append the fourth line of the text file onto the file name with a underscore in-between. (i.e. Category_1235678.txt).

I have 4 x 500MB drives in my Mac Pro and 4 x 500MB external firewire drives.
Currently I use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone each internal drive to it's respective backup. ie Drive 1 > Backup 1, Drive 2 > Backup 2 etc
Is it possible to use Timemachine in a similar way? so that each internal drive has it's own corresponding Timemachine backup?
When I open my Finder, inside my Applications folder I see...an Applications folder. And an "Applications copy" folder. All full of the same applications. Am I just seeing multiple mirrors of one Applications folder, or did I actually somehow duplicate all my applications?
View 8 Replies View Related I've recently upgraded to Lion and have found that Quicktime movies and embedded Flash movies won't work. With the embedded flash all I get is a black box, and with quicktime movies, such as the ones on the Apple website, I get nothing - the irony of not being able to watch movies on the Apple site with my Apple iMac gives me a little chuckle. Anyways ....... I've been reading thread after thread and trying lots of different things but nothing works. I've got this feeling inside that says it's something simple but just can't seem to find it.

As stated in the thread name, I have problems to add vidoes to iTunes. I converted them to .m4v format using Handbrake. Then I choose "Add file to Library" in iTunes but nothing happens after that.

How do I get itunes to import video? I'm on itunes 9.2. When I click on Library/Movies in the upper left, I'm taken to a page that wants to connect me to the itunes store. I don't want the itunes store. I want itunes to find and recognize my own movies folder. I want to import into itunes video content that's already on my imac, so that I can transfer it to the iphone. I tried pressing the apple key + O to add media to the Library.

but I do not have an app that will download the video to view it at a later time.
I used to use Jdownloader , but downloading stops with a message saying "Aborted" , and sometimes when it is downloaded , the video will be corrupted with a blackout.

View 16 Replies View RelatedI'm in the process of making a presentation in iMovie, and I am using photos and movies from iPhoto. The pictures work just fine, but I can not get my videos to import into iMovie. I've tried restarting both iPhoto and iMovie, and I've had no luck. The files are .mov, which I know are compatible with iMovie because I've used them before. However I did a test video and it was MPEG-4, and that imported just fine into iMovie. So it appears it may be a format issue but I've used .mov in the past so that has me stumped. I could re render the video in MPEG-4, but the video was a rendering of the whole building in HD, so it took about 24 hours to render, so I don't want to do that again. If I do have to convert it, what program can I use to convert it?
