When I email myself a photo from my iphone to my gmail or me account. The photos all append themselves with photo.jpg. I get photos from friends and it's the same issue. How do i correct this? Is it suppose to be like this?

when i attempt to attach a photo to an email thru I photo is there a way to change the size of the attachment /photo for all outgoing mail ? I looked in I-photo preferences and didn't find any thing ? sorry I'm old and this is all very confusing to me
View 4 Replies View RelatedI seem to having a problem with Photo Booth thats kinda weird. I take pictures with Photo Booth, but once they are taken they dont show up in the little row on the bottom. They are in the folder in Finder, but they don't show up so I can view them in-program. Just an odd thing I thought I would see if anyone has a fix for.Nothing major, just a minor annoyance.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, my problem is very simple. I like organizing my things by tagging them. I like photos. I have a lot of photos that I took in 2 different external drivers. I can't combine those two. I can't put all of my pictures in my laptop. I want to organize those pictures. I want to put an driver in my usb and the app/software just organizes the pictures from that driver, than, when I plug in another driver, I want the pictures from the last driver out and the pictures from the connected driver in.

I take pictures with my iPhone 4s and they go to my iPad just great but I only get about 50% of them to my MacBook Pro. They are radomly not there. There will be five or six that are there then 5 or 6 that are black no photo. All the warythrough the 200 photos I took on my latest trip? Is there any reason for this random messing up of photos? Is there anyway of getting them on the MacBook short of syncing my iPhone 4s through iPhoto? I am not liking this Photo Stream right now to many missing photos.Â
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt was good that Apple added the much needed "Delte" Featuer to Photo Stream. The next issue that came a long for me is: Photo Stream still saves all photos I take into my iPhoto library.
So, even though I choose "Delte" in Photo Stream there is still a copy saved in my iPhoto library.
Usually it creates an event and names it "May '12 Photo Stream" or something similar.
Then I again have to go into this event and delte the photos a second time.Â
Is there a way to disable this feature?Â
I would like to manually add photos from Photo Stream to my library.Â

Anytime I try to use Aperture to Import my photos from the Iphone to a folder in my Mac, Aperture will import some photos to the folder I Chose, but other go only to the iCloud Photo Stream...Â
I have just tried to import only I few photos from the camera Roll, and it imported as it should, but when I chose to delete the photos from the camera roll it deleted all the photos...

I am using Aperture. Photos taken with my Ipad are downloaded through iCloud to my MBP. They used to be transferred automatically to a Photo Stream project and associated to a month. This stopped working. Everything is checked ok in the Aperture preferences...

I tried the steps on the photobiz site but they did ont work. I can not scroll down to read thefags page when on the site either. I had to use my pc to open the site and work. I have also opened a trouble ticket on the site to see if they could offer any assistance.

So I was sleep deprived (school work) and I copied a folder from an external drive to the internal one and I forgot what OS X asked me.
Now when I check the folder that I dropped my folder into (they have the same names...external drive folder is older) it overwrote the whole folder and deleted the newer files in the destination folder?
I must be doozy right now or something is going on.
Does OS X actually never append files? Even if I overwrite a folder??
Anyway to recover these files?

Is there something that can append two videos together in a batch mode? We have a lot of video we need to add a little video trailer to the end of it.There has to be something that can operate in a batch type of mode where you can give it a bunch of video and then append a trailer on the end of each one.

I want to append the file name with the folder path. The photos are organized in folders which give info I want to make part of the filename itself (country, city etc.)

I have thousands of text files that are named with random unique numerical ID in a specific folder. The problem is I want to be able to do quick sort of the files by a category. The category of each text file is always written as the fourth line of each text file. I would like to write an Applescript to append the fourth line of the text file onto the file name with a underscore in-between. (i.e. Category_1235678.txt).
