I need a professional DJ'ing studio for the Mac that will let me upload to my Shoutcast server. Previously I have been using SAM Broadcaster on PC to do my live shows but since the switch to Mac I haven't been able to find a single thing. I know that there must be SOMETHING out there that will let me do this.

anyone have any ideas? or am i just going to have to be pissed because there is no good software out there like the shoutcast NSV for windows?
It's just dumbfounding considering the fact that Mac's are the industry choice for A/V related tasks. It seems that online radio DJ'ing would be a big thing for Mac. Before switching to Mac 100% I used to run SAM Broadcaster from Spacial Audio. I think any online DJ would agree that SAM is the best online DJ streaming software ever made. It incorporates absolutely everything.
Why doesn't someone make a SAM "clone" for Mac? I'd pay out the arse for it. I'm huge in to online broadcasting and Nicecast just doesn't cut it, it's WEAK.
Out of rage I just sent Spacial Audio a development request to release SAM Broadcast for Mac OS X Let's see what they say, haha.
I recently moved from a pc and used to broadcast audio using winamp using shoutcast to host.
It seems the best alternative on mac is nicecast which i use frequently.
It would be nice to find a mac host (like shoutcast) so people could connect in without me sending them a url.
Yesterday, I had to re-format my external hard drive so that it could be "recordable" within Pro Tools, which wasn't a major issue, I just had to move everything from my Lacie drive to another drive, do the format, and then throw it all back on. It took a little while but this also included moving my nearly 60gb itunes library. Now that it is on the newly formatted hard drive, itunes doesn't seem to be able to find the majority of the songs any more. I've tried changing the music folder and a few other things, and there is no way I'm going through and doing the "cant find music - click here to find it" palava. Is anyone aware of a way that you can "mass find" all of the music in any way other than starting the library again and adding all the music (I don't really want to lose all of my play counts and ratings if possible!)

I tried to use DVD2One, which itself is very fast (considering that it uses all the CPU cores), but unfortunately it cannot handle copy-protected DVDs. First ripping the DVD on the Hd with Mac The Ripper is a time wasting, considering that in Windows AnyDVD simply removes the protection via software, without any previous extraction of the DVD content.

On my pc, I've been using Dvddecrypter + CloneDVD2 to make backups of my DVD movies. However, I cannot find a DVD re-encoding program for Mac. I know Handbrake can encode them to avi/mkv but that's not what I need, I just need to reencode my DVD's so they'll fit on a normal DVD-R (with a choice to get the menus and extras or not, ideally).Is there such software for Mac? Also when I try and connect my camera to import my pictures my computer keeps looking for my time capsule.
If I hit command-space and begin typing something in Spotlight, then go to Safari 4 and hit command-F, the search box is prefilled with whatever I typed in Spotlight. I don't know if this is the intended behavior or not, but I don't recall it happening in Safari 3.

I exported them and tried to import them into font boot but 85% of them appear to be damaged. When i double click on the file they ethier dont open or open a blank text edit file.

Question, How do you find out how many photo's are in the database? I have been looking but I cannot find it.
I have googled and searched. I know it is probably right in front of me too.
I have spent a whole week importing songs from my external hdd to Itunes (ordering, adding album art, deleting double songs etc.) Almost 230 GB on music! Since I have a 500 GB hdd, I decided to deselect 'copy files to Itunes media folder' under preferences. I have a backup on my external hdd and I didn't know for sure if I would get the songs double (one in Itunes library and one in Itunes music folder, so taking up more space. I assumed that I could do this, since I read in 'Itunes help' that I could also deselect this option if you have your files stored on an external hdd.
While I was doing that my external hdd was connected to my laptop all the time. Today I finally finish the job, deconnected the hdd and found out that Itunes can't find any of my songs back! Only when I connect the external hdd to my laptop I can play the music. Is there a way to solve this problem or do I need to do it all over again while making a copy from my files to Itunes media folder? Since Itunes couldn't find any of my songs, I assume that for examply a 100 mb album will take up 100 mb on my hdd on my laptop and not 200MB?
Then there's a second problem: I deleted one of the albums in Itunes and imported the album again, but this time I selected the checkbox 'copy to itunes mediafolder when adding to library'. But now my songs are showing up double! One has the extension mp3 and the other one 1.mp3 When I go to Itunes mediafolder they show up there twice, so they don't show up in two separate folders. If I need to import all the songs again and delete the doubles manually it will take me ages
