View 1 RepliesIn windoze I can type, for example person@server.com?subject=Fish&body=Cod and when I send the email with that in, the person I send it to can just click the link and it will: create a new email put the person it goes to in the 'to' field put the subject in the subject field put the word 'cod' into the body However, when I do this in snow leopard, I just get an unclickable line of stuff, much as you have probably viewed above. Also, when someone sends me an email with a similar link, it's also not clickable and I have to laboriously create a new email with all the fields remembered and filled and gone back to and well you get the picture. How do I make it clickable? It's not the same as a clickable URL, I've discovered, so that didn't work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have tried several times to send an email with a link to a tumblr blog and it is not being received by the recipients. It is in my sent items and I have not received a notification to say it has not been sent. If I send the same email without the hyperlink they recieve it. What is stopping this email from being sent properly and why am I not receiving a notification to say otherwise.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am taking a logo and trying to attach a hyperlink to it's web address.I created the letter in Pages and then copied it to mac email. Pages will only let me embed hyperlink into text.So I made a line "click here" next to the logo and linked it to that. It works fine but when emailing it the logos don't arrive on the receiving end. I see them in the email when I send it, but not the receiver.
View 3 Replies View Relatedhow to embed an image with a link, or embed a Microsoft Word document with a hyperlink built within the document -- not as an attachment into my email -- but where it shows as the email content when opened! Does ANYONE know the secret? Can it be done, or not? My PC clients do it all the time easily. Then I want to be able to send the embedded image/document (not as an attachment, but visable within the email when opened) to many email contacts at once, BUT the individuals receiving them DO NOT SEE the other email contacts.

I wanted someone to tell me if this is possible to do in Keynote:
say I have a Keynote presentation with four slides. In the first slide I have hyperlinks to pages 2, 3 and 4. Can I have a different transition effect for each slide so that when I click on hyperlink for slide 2 I have the cube transition, when I click on hyperlink for page 3 I have the flip transition... etc?
I'm using Numbers to track my homework and readings, and I'm wondering if there's a way I can add a hyperlink to a file on my Mac from a table in Numbers.
For example, say I've typed up my notes in Pages and put it in a specific folder in Documents.
Could I add a link to a table in Numbers that allows me to just click on it and my notes open immediately in Pages? Has anyone tried this before?
I cannot figure out how to hyperlink in Apple mail? I never wanted to ask and look stupid, but my friend who is a mac user just asked me the same thing! Now with strength in numbers, how the heck do you do it?
View 10 Replies View RelatedOkay, so I'm setting up my website and it's quite a bit like the Apple site. I set up links to my other pages from each page, but when I check "activate hyperlinks" and then click one, I always go back to the main page (The Psywave Corporation). What am I doing wrong, if anything, formatting-wise? How can I fix this?

If I cut and paste a web link into an email, it does not become a hyperlink. The recipient cannot simply click on the link, it appears just as regular text. I use Hotmail.

how to not have the disc image appear on my desktop when I open applications that I downloaded. For example I downloaded wondershare dvd ripper and everytime I open it the disc image shows up on my desktop and I cant eject it without quitting the application. View 1 Replies View RelatedSafari used to let me drag an image from a webpage to the finder and have the dragged file be saved as an actual image but now all that's saved is a webloc file. I want the image saved, not a reference to the image's URL - do I now have to always use "save as" to save it?
I can understand Safari creating a webloc file if I dragged the site icon from the location bar to the finder, but to make the default behavior for dragging things that are parts of a page (not the page itself) as webloc files seems like a HUGE step backwards for usability.
Does anyone know if there's, say, a key to hold when dragging to avoid saving a webloc file or a defaults command or something to make Safari revert back to sane draging behavior?

One software says I cannot upload an image because the image or the container folder does not have permission. Indeed there is one "unknown" in permissions, that I cannot get to a read write no matter how hard I try -- both on the folder, the desktop, and the file (this is all on my laptop) I've done a repair permission.

When a user copies an image from a browser into PowerPoint 2011 he gets text of a link back to the image, not the image itself. But if he copies from a browser into Word he gets the image, and can then copy the image from Word to PowerPoint. Same results with both Firefox and Safari. Behavior is new so I assume it relates to recent software updates but user does not recall accepting any.

I have my PowerBook G4 connected to a Hitachi video projector, using a DVI to VGA adapter.
The problem is that the only projected image I can see is that of my Desktop image. It doesn't display the Dock, menus or any windows.
What settings do I need to change?
I recently right clicked a picture to set it as my desktop picture but didn't have the foresight to save the picture in case I wanted to change it later. I still have the picture up but I cannot find where the picture is stored so I can save it for later. I checked HD/Library/desktop pictures but no luck. Does anyone know where these pictures are saved?

Using Command + M means minimised a window. But in CS3, pressing Command + M out comes the curves. Is there a command key to minimise the image. When image open in CS3, it automatically occupy a small space at the top left corner but leaving a large space that I still can see desktop folders or files in the background. How do I default it so that it autmatically occupy the whole screen.
