View 3 RepliesIn windoze I can type, for example person@server.com?subject=Fish&body=Cod and when I send the email with that in, the person I send it to can just click the link and it will: create a new email put the person it goes to in the 'to' field put the subject in the subject field put the word 'cod' into the body However, when I do this in snow leopard, I just get an unclickable line of stuff, much as you have probably viewed above. Also, when someone sends me an email with a similar link, it's also not clickable and I have to laboriously create a new email with all the fields remembered and filled and gone back to and well you get the picture. How do I make it clickable? It's not the same as a clickable URL, I've discovered, so that didn't work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have tried several times to send an email with a link to a tumblr blog and it is not being received by the recipients. It is in my sent items and I have not received a notification to say it has not been sent. If I send the same email without the hyperlink they recieve it. What is stopping this email from being sent properly and why am I not receiving a notification to say otherwise.

I am taking a logo and trying to attach a hyperlink to it's web address.I created the letter in Pages and then copied it to mac email. Pages will only let me embed hyperlink into text.So I made a line "click here" next to the logo and linked it to that. It works fine but when emailing it the logos don't arrive on the receiving end. I see them in the email when I send it, but not the receiver.

I'm on a MacBook, 10.6.8. I just got an iPad 3 & iPhone 4GS. The Apple store set them up for me. They also set up Mail for me, which I've never had before (because I use Yahoo), and which totally confounds me and which I suspect is related to this problem. Now when I search for, say, a document, hundreds of emails are listed as well, making it difficult, time-consuming and frustrating to find the item I really want. Is there a way to filter out or turn off email results (and websites for that matter, since I don't search for them that way) in search results?

This is my first post, thanks in advance for any help. Hope I can explain correctly. I don't think my site [URL]actually ever had malware. I (not knowing better) placed a small *.exe file on my site via ftp just to transfer it from home to work. Anyway I think it caused me to get listed with google as having malware etc. (even though it was no type of dangerous file). I registered with googles webmaster tools, deleted it off my site and requested they re-scan it. Well that seams to have worked and all is fine except with Safari. I am still getting the malware notice with Safari only. I have cleared history, emptied the cache, deleted cookies and reset safari. Still getting the message. Sometimes I can open the site fine then click home and it pops up again. I really think my site is completely fine but I cant figure out why its still doing this with Safari. Needless to say this is terrible for business.

I would like to send email attachments as actual attachments rather than embedded in the body of the message. I tried typing "defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -tool yes" in Applications/Utilities/Terminal which I thought had worked before, but no luck now.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been having problems with my Safari and firefox. They both say they are up to date. When I use fire fox to look at Hotmail.com, it takes a while to load and when I try to open mail in new tabs, it opens a tab saying "javascript;;".
When I use safari to look at hotmail, it does an infinite loop and stays blank..the URL thingy just goes in loops. I mostly use fire fox, and some times when I go to type, I will get a 10 second delay before my text appears..
I am unable to view the entire screen of any open website/email without having to scroll up/down/right or left.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHow do I send email addresses in an email? I wanted to send my family some addresses so they could email more family in an evite invitation. I'm not using my mighty mouse anymore. I use a Targus one as I have arthritis and it's scrolls much easier. I don't think that makes a difference does it? I thought it was a right click and it would highlight the address, and the person who receives it can just click on it.
I use Hotmail and Roadrunner email. I have accounts in Gmail and Yahoo as well, but rarely use them, unless one of my main ones aren't working. What do I do, or what do I have to have in order to click and high light the address? I tried sending links as well and can't get them sent so others can click on them and open it as well. I've used the insert link box and it hasn't worked. I could do this on my pc I have sitting over there collecting dust but not on my IMac.
i use Entourage and travel a lot (macbook air). Staying at hotel and emails worked. 2 days ago suddenly can't send anything and get error message -17099 with "recipient address rejected-error denied"
I usually use smtp.com when I travel for outgoing server but have also tried my home one and the hotel one
I'm using Mac Mail (newest version) and would like to know how to stop a single outgoing message.
I have clicked on the outgoing message "X" but it continues to send.
WHY can't I simply attach a photo to an e-mail message? iPhoto is way too complicated or am I missing something?

Just recently, my email recipients are getting my sent image embedded in the email so they can not download them. This is particular to jpegs and some zipped files. Mac OSX 10.9.3 I am using iMail. It also doesn't seem to matter of I send it from a POP or IMAP account. It is happening to both Mac and PC users.
