My apple store application on my macbook pro si showing blue question marks everywhere, and a lot of the applications images are not being displayed. I also have an ipad 2 and an iphone and this problem is not happening with those other devices.
View 3 RepliesI don't know what happend to my websites, but many of them are displaying blue boxes with question marks instead of pictures. Some of the sites are Facebook, Abercombie, Hollister, etc. I read somewhere that it may have been due to the adobe flash update I installed.

I have a issue with my app store. When I downloaded a free app from the app store and later decided that I do not need it, I just erased it. What I have observed is that the updates for the application are still in the list in the app store. I tried to install the application again, and install the update, but when the new updates came out, it started repeating.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have used a third party video converter (PavTube Video Converter) successfully for some time on my Mac Desktop using OS X 10.6.8. I have acquired a new MacBook Pro with OS X 10.9.4. Initially I installed the PavTube application from the install DVD. However it would not recognize video files on the MacBook Pro. PavTube sent an updated aplicatioin which I have downloaded and installed on the MacBook Pro. When attempting to open the application I was faced with a message that the application could not be opened because it was not downloaded from an Apple certified provider. What do I do to be able to use the application?
View 8 Replies View Related1. When closing the lid or pressing the power button the computer freezes, the fans start spinning fast it stays like that until it drains the battery. This happens every time.
2. Start-up times are very long, like 3 or 4 minutes. This also happens every time.
3. Now after a fresh snow leopard install it doesn't even start up completely, as it stays showing a light blue background and I can hear the music of the introductory animation.
4. Also, the keyboard is unresponsive at the login screen, but the mouse cursor moves and the display goes to sleep normally. Clicking anywhere with the mouse also produces no effect.
5. It seems to work OK in safe mode.
The macbook worked ok with the factory installed Tiger. The SL DVD is OK, as its installation has been tested on another Mac. The machine's advanced hardware test passed successfully. Resetting Pram and SMC did not solve the problem.
I have iMac 27 and screen problem on start up i have blue vertical lines, when it start i have a lot of blue dots and nothing else. when I connect outside monitor its showing the same.
Just installed lion and still the same problem when it starts blue dots, when startup in safe mode loads of blue lines and dots on the screen.

I recently wiped my MacBook Pro 5,3 and reinstalled snow leopard from the disc that came with it. I updated to 10.6.8 and opened the App Store to upgrade to Lion. I purchased Lion when it came out and it's always shown in the App Store as Purchased or Installed, but now I don't see it. I'm signed in to the same account on the same Mac. Why don't I see it come up? The App Store wants me to buy it again.

I purchased and installed OSX Lion last year on two machines. I decided yesterday to finally update the last from OS 10.6.8 to Lion but find that 'OSX Lion' is missing from the my 'Purchased' list! The only other App that is missing is 'OSX Lion Server' (surprise surprise...)
What is also strange is that on the machines running OS 10.7.4, 'OSX Lion' is not showing as installed in the Mac App Store either! So I could in theory buy 'OSX Lion' again on a machine that is running OSX Lion!
How do I get to upgrade my Mac to Lion without buying it needlessly?

I've been told that if you buy a new Mac it will show iLife '11 as installed in the Mac App Store so that you can then install the iLife '11 apps on your other macs without having to re-purchase iLife '11 on each computer. I have a 2010 MacBook Pro and a 2011 MacBook Pro and I've signed into the Mac App Store using the same account on each computer but the iLife '11 app still shows as being purchaseable from both computers. Any advice on how to get this to show as installed so that I can install it on my 2010 MBP without re-purchasing it?
