View 5 RepliesI purchased and installed OSX Lion last year on two machines. I decided yesterday to finally update the last from OS 10.6.8 to Lion but find that 'OSX Lion' is missing from the my 'Purchased' list! The only other App that is missing is 'OSX Lion Server' (surprise surprise...)Â
What is also strange is that on the machines running OS 10.7.4, 'OSX Lion' is not showing as installed in the Mac App Store either! So I could in theory buy 'OSX Lion' again on a machine that is running OSX Lion!Â
How do I get to upgrade my Mac to Lion without buying it needlessly?Â

I have purchased Garageband from the App Store and it downloaded seamlessly, worked well for the first few hours, on the next launch it wouldn't start unless i download some additional stuff of 1.6GB of size which i did. Once done and started installing it stops at some point before it completes installing and suddenly closes the application, when started again it askes for the download again. I did try downloading again, same scenario. Also, Garageband is not showing in my Purchases section of the MAS.Â

My "Purchases" section shows "Install" on the OS X Lion row instead of "Installed" like the rest of my apps. Lion is running fine and I even Restarted to see if it would go away. The "Insall" is highlighted like it expects me to click the button. Should I? Is this some kind of Update?

I bought the Lion Server and downloaded it.I ran the installer. A window appeared saying "Your Mac needs additional server software. Click Continue to download and install the software and finish configuration."It then shows a progress bar and proceeds to download, but stops with the error message: "Can't install Server Essentials because it is not currently available from the Software Update server." There is only an "OK" button that cancels the installer.I wasted hours with phone calls and support chat but they didn't know anything. it really seems like Apple has expanded to the point of incompetency.

I recently wiped my MacBook Pro 5,3 and reinstalled snow leopard from the disc that came with it. I updated to 10.6.8 and opened the App Store to upgrade to Lion. I purchased Lion when it came out and it's always shown in the App Store as Purchased or Installed, but now I don't see it. I'm signed in to the same account on the same Mac. Why don't I see it come up? The App Store wants me to buy it again.

Just upgraded a Snow Leopard Server to Lion Server 10.7.3 and the Web Service works along with all of my virtual hosts BUT the default site that shows isn't the one that Server.app says should show, its the first virtual host that shows.
I've tried adding "ServerName myserver.mydomain.com" params into the 0000_any_80_.conf which hasn't worked. Anyone know a workaround for this? Can't use the Wiki or Webmail without it.
I might have turned them off when I first got my lap top but I am unsure. Does anyone know of a way to turn off in app purchases?

View 1 Replies View RelatedConfiguration: I have the latest iMac running Mountian Lion. I connect via WiFi to a Linksys modem that is connected to my ISP's WiFI modem which connects to a tower a few miles away which, in turn, connects to the ISP's processors somewhere nearby. Â
On the network diagnostics Network status there are indicators for WiFi, WiFi settings, Network Settings, ISP, Internet and server.Â
Occasionally the internet and server indicators go to yellow and then red resulting in no connection. I have reset the Linksys, the ISP WiFi modem, both and it does not seem to make any difference. Eventually the Internet and Server indicators return to green and the connection is restored. When they are yellow or red, it affects all processors in the house (iMac, Macbook Pro, iPad, iPod, etc).
I want to stop my mac from storing my mail on my mac, is their a way to keep them stored on the server?
