I have accidentally uninstalled an application. I cannot install it back as in "My Purchases" section on App Store it is marked as "Installed". I simply cannot download it back. What do I do now?

I bought a used mac mini and I was viewng the App Store and wanted to purchase IPhoto app but it was purchase previously and could not update because not associated with my Apple ID. The error message reads I would need to purchase it again My issue I have it the icon for the application just give me a the options to "update" and not purchase. What do I need to do to purchase this app?

I let it download 4 different times all the same size download and it is always the same. The program wont run.

Having trouble accessing the App Store. I don't have the App Store Icon in my dock nor can I find it in the applications folder. I tried installing the Lion 10.7.3 update. I have installed the lion today only. Now I want to update my xcode also but when I click on install button on xcode download page in Mac App Store it does not do anything. I see an activity indicator moving for 2-3 seconds and then it disappears. I am not able to see any kind of installation anywhere. how should I install the xocde now?Â

So my iPod is all kinds of glitching. None of the apps are working. I press them and they open for a second and then close themselves out. Them I tried installing a new app, a free one, bit it's glitching. I go to the app store, search for Any game but when I press free, it does this weird thing where the free button moves and then all I can see I half the install button. I tried pressing the half-install button but it does nothing. I tried restarting the iPod nut it's the same thing once I turn it back on.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is the first time i reinstalled(clean install) my snow leopard on my MBP. All went fine but then i inserted the disc for bundled application (which contains the ilife apps) but it keeps failing.Â
It says that "the installation failed. the installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. contact the software manufacturer for assistance".Â
I've also done my research on this matter. I've gone thru a few steps i tried as below without success:Â
1)normal install - fail
2)repair permission - fail
3)install in safe mode - fail
4) install using another admin acc - fail
5) made an image out of the disc and install - fail
6) used a similar disc(my dad's since we have identical version) - fai
7)updated my system and install - fail
8) reinstall the mac - failÂ
i cant think of any other solution as im a bit noob when it comes to mac. is there any other things i could try before taking it Apple?
