ITunes :: TV Show 'Season' Folders On One Mac But Not Another?
Mar 12, 2012Found an odd problem with iTunes on one of my Mac's. My TV shows on one mac are dropped in a Season X folder, while on the other Mac they are not. Both have the Season and Episode information filled out identically (same files on both Mac's), yet one creates the Season Folders and one does not. I would prefer that they are just put in a single folder rather than Season subfolders, but I can work with either.
Both Mac's are set to allow iTunes keep the media folder organized and to copy the files to the media folder.
I'm curious if there's a plist setting that controls the creation of the Season folder, and if this other mac has a legay PLIST seting that is causing this difference?

Mar 31, 2012I recieved an email from iTunes saying my episode for Fringe Season 4 "Nothing as It Seems" is ready for download, yet when I sign in the ep doesn't download and it isn't listed on the season list yet. So why do they send an email saying its ready when it clearly isn't?? Wouldn't waiting til it's up for download to send an email notification that it's ready make more sense?

Jun 22, 2014I'm trying to buy more episodes for a show (Supernatural S9 if it makes any difference) and I try to click the SD button, but it doesn't change anything. I've only bought a few episodes of this show separately instead of a season pass because I've already seen several episodes, therefore I can't download them from cloud. the HD button next to the title and season of the show disappears after clicking the button, but nothing else changes. I tried signing out of my account and trying it on my sister's, and the switch between them worked perfectly fine? could this be an error with my account? I've tried restarting iTunes and my laptop, and nothing is changing.

App Store :: Get A Hidden Purchased App Back?
May 30, 2012I accidentally hit the "x" on the "Purcased apps" page of the Mac App Store. I know that if you go to Store -> View My Account and click "View Hidden Purchases" it should show me the purchases that I have hidden, and allow me to "UnHide" them. However when I click on the "View Hidden Purchases" link it leads me to a page that says "You do not have any hidden purchases." I know I do, because it even says "You have hidden 12 items" to the left of the "View Hidden Purchases" link.
I know that this seems kinda confusing, it's even confusing to myself but my mind is boggled. I don't understand why it would be saying that I have 12 hidden items, then I click the link to view them and it says I have none. I've tried logging out of and into the app store and restarting my computer.

I am worried that the file might still be on my computer as Launchpad still showed the progress bar even after I closed the App Store application. Unfortunately the chance in how apple manages email proved a showstopper and I am NOT prepared to upgrade my desktop to lion - yet - as I have key applications that would require additional upgrades and purchases I dont want to make yet. So - how do I get the upgrade (as yet unused) cancelled and refunded. In speaking with support it seems the downgrade options only apply AFTER the annual period has elapsed.

Safari :: Cancelled Shutdown - Quit Option Gray And Non Functional
Jun 26, 2012When I click "shutdown" on my MacBook PRO, I get a popup saying "Safari Cancelled Shutdown" then if I try to close Safari the "Quit Safari" is gray and none functional. Even if I let it set for several hours and try again it has not resolved. If I hold down the power button and force shutdown, then when I reboot it works fine for awhile then repeats the whole cycle. All software is updated.

Oct 1, 2010My Daughter was given an i-tunes voucher and set up an account on i-tunes and then purchased songs using the voucher. the trouble is, we had a single account that we used for purchasing songs so that we could all download the purchased songs. Now she has synced her i-phone against her new account but i'd simply like to bring the new songs she purchased back into the main library and keep it that way.

The space is very limited on the work computers otherwise I would have kept it on there. Mar 6, 2012Had an issue with my Macbook Pro recently in that it wouldn't start up. A friend got it sorted but when I booted up had to put all my details in and instal all new updates. I didn't lose any of my data from my machine it had all been moved to a Previous Systems folder on the hard drive. No problem, imported everything back to the current folder. Anyway as soon as I tried to watch anything that had been bought through the iTunes store wouldn't work. The screen opens and the timer ticks away like it's playing but no sound and just a grey box.

I don't understand this message. I thought that if I bought a song or an app from my iPhone it would be brought to iTunes on my MacBook when I did a synch, or direclty from the store. How would I identify what items the message is referring to, and how would I add them to my library?
