As such, they don't support you watching a new DVD encode through your AppleTV or Mac Mini - much less offer the artwork to make it look clean.....................

Aug 22, 2014I thought my album artwork was disappearing. Turns out the problem is a bit different (and weirder) than I thought it was.Â
When I look at the Album view in iTunes and see all the albums in a tile/grid layout, there are some albums that show no artwork. These just have the default gray cover with the...um...note thingy on it. But when I click on one of these album covers and see the songs, all of them *do* have artwork. When I play these songs, I also see the artwork. It's only at the album level that I don't.Â

ITunes :: TV Show 'Season' Folders On One Mac But Not Another?
Mar 12, 2012Found an odd problem with iTunes on one of my Mac's. My TV shows on one mac are dropped in a Season X folder, while on the other Mac they are not. Both have the Season and Episode information filled out identically (same files on both Mac's), yet one creates the Season Folders and one does not. I would prefer that they are just put in a single folder rather than Season subfolders, but I can work with either.Â
Both Mac's are set to allow iTunes keep the media folder organized and to copy the files to the media folder.Â
I'm curious if there's a plist setting that controls the creation of the Season folder, and if this other mac has a legay PLIST seting that is causing this difference?

Mar 31, 2012I recieved an email from iTunes saying my episode for Fringe Season 4 "Nothing as It Seems" is ready for download, yet when I sign in the ep doesn't download and it isn't listed on the season list yet. So why do they send an email saying its ready when it clearly isn't?? Wouldn't waiting til it's up for download to send an email notification that it's ready make more sense?

ITunes For Mac :: HD Button Next To Title And Season Of Show Disappears After Clicking
Jun 22, 2014I'm trying to buy more episodes for a show (Supernatural S9 if it makes any difference) and I try to click the SD button, but it doesn't change anything. I've only bought a few episodes of this show separately instead of a season pass because I've already seen several episodes, therefore I can't download them from cloud. the HD button next to the title and season of the show disappears after clicking the button, but nothing else changes. I tried signing out of my account and trying it on my sister's, and the switch between them worked perfectly fine? could this be an error with my account? I've tried restarting iTunes and my laptop, and nothing is changing.

When I found my podcast in iTunes I realised that the episodes that I have in the store are in reverse order, ie. episode 1 is episode 4 etc. I have used blogger to post my audio files and have used Feedburner to create the feed link. Is there anything that I can do to make it so that episode 1 is episode 1 and that every episode that follows is in order of its creation?Â

Nov 18, 2009In order to select which podcasts should be synced to the iPhone/iPod, one has to select the desired podcast subscription from the Devices/Podcast/Sync_Podcasts list. However, the podcast list in the Devices/Podcast/ page now only displays podcast subscriptions if it has episodes already downloaded. One cannot include podcast subscriptions if that podcast subscription currently has no downloaded episodes. This is annoying.
Worst still, previously selected podcast subscriptions that have no more episodes will no longer be selected anymore even if it downloads episodes later. Therefore, one has to keep going back to the list and selecting the podcast subscription over and over again.

Oct 12, 2009I'd understand that the iTunes store wouldn't have very low sales volume album art, but nothing for the Beatles? After loading over 100 CDs onto my disc, artwork was only found for about 40 of them.

Dec 21, 2008Some of my cds don't have any artwork with them (choir recordings, friends' recitals, etc) so I just want to add my own pictures or artwork in itunes. The images are all under 200x200, all jpeg (though I've tried other formats as well), and when I go into the "get info" part and add it to the artwork pane, it shows up. But when I click "ok", it doesn't show up with the rest of the albums (as Cover Flow or as Grid). I've tried "clear downloaded artwork" and then adding it, but that doesn't help either.

When I select an album in grid view and choose Get Info, the Get Info window does not show the artwork tab, like what shows when I select a single song. There is a tiny little Artwork window in the Info tab, but I want to add multiple artwork to this (dragged in from the Finder), front, back and inside album art. If I select a single song in that album and choose Get Info, then I see the artwork tab, but the artwork I drag in applies only to that song (the album art appears in the Now Playing pane only when that song is playing). How do you add artwork to a whole album?

May 27, 2012I am having difficulty getting podcast artwork that appears in the podcast directory on the iTunes store to appear in iTunes after I've subscribed.For example, if I choose NBC's "Meet the Press (audio)", the directory shows a cover image for the podcast.However, when I subscribe, no cover art appears on my iTunes or my iPod Nano (latest generation).When I click on the podcat image and then select "Get Album Artwork" (either by ctrl+click on the mouse, or the "Advanced" menu), nothing happens.What might be causing this to happen, and what do I do? Feb 22, 2010When I was using Panther I had no problem getting album covers (artwork) from Google but since upgrading to a new iMac and Snow Leopard iTunes won't accept artwork from any other source but the iTunes store. Is there a way around? Am I missing something? Not ALL artwork (albums / one hit wonders) are available through the iTunes store but I still would like their album-covers.

Nov 15, 2009I've been trying to figure out how to add album cover to .flac and .aiff files for a while. When I try to add it to .flac, it just shows "Album cover not modifiable" and when I try to add it to .aiff files, it does it, but then when I quit iTunes and restart it, it's gone again.
Is this a bug or it just not possible to add album cover to them?
Btw: Audiophile, would prefer .flac or .aiff over .mp3

Aug 10, 2010Tried a few different methods of changing the artwork for an album, but it won't stick. Instead, it looks like it's scrambling the artwork. Tried two or three different .jpgs, but it just winds up looking like what's shown below: What's going on with that? 17k songs and this is the first time this has happened. Tried restarting iTunes.. no go. Don't wanna jack up the library (too much).

Feb 25, 2012Is there a way to delete all the artwork from iTunes and start over again? I keep getting the wrong album artwork for many of my songs. Even if I delete it individually, it comes back. I was thinking, if I delete it all, turn off iCloud and syncing, download all new artwork, then reload iCloud, I might finally be able to have the correct artwork.Â
It seems one piece of artwork shows up on almost half my songs. It's really annoying. With 1000's of songs, it would take forever to do each individually (and even if I did, I think that one piece of artwork would show up when I synced with iCloud.Â
