I am trying to add new songs to my new iPhone and they will not go across from my itunes, i continue adding other songs and the number of 'files being updated' increases but never gets smaller

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Quicken 2007 for Mac on my G4 and would like to move it to my new iMac currently running Lion. I downloaded the recently-released update that will allow Quicken to run on Lion, then downloaded the file to an external USB drive. I then uploaded it to my iMac, and Quicken opens, but does not have any of my account information. I then deleted the files from my iMac and downloaded another copy of Quicken 2007 from the Quicken website. I then downloaded the update to my iMac, but it would not open. So, it appears that I have to transfer it form my G4, but need to do it in a way that will also transfer my data.
I ordered a firewire cable and am planning to try to move it directly. In the meantime, does anybody have any tips? Just so you know, I really want to use Quicken.
I updated my computer to iTunes 10 today, and now every time I connect my iPad 2 or my iPhone 3G and then click on one or the other of them to do a sync, iTunes completely crashes. Both devices are completely up to date, as is my Macbook Pro. But now I can't sync my devices

I have tried a lot of things, such as rebooting mac, signing out itunes etc.
itunes only option is to restore iphone, and im not sure about that since my phone has been backing up on iCloud for the last 6 hours and doesn't seems to end :/ Â Â
So I listen to a couple podcasts on the regular and the iTunes store is not updated, basically a day behind. Anyone having similar issues or heard about this at all? FYI the two podcasts are the BS Report by Bill Simmons from ESPN and the Dan Patrick show. Not the biggest deal as I can stream them directly from the podcast websites via safari, but of course I can't get them in my iPod/iPhone till I get home.

I tried dozens of times downloading quicktime from apple website and still got this same problem. Now i cant open itunes and other program related to quicktime because my quicktime has an older version.

Can I use Mac OS 10.5.x successfully? Does this computer have what is needed? Out of ignorance and bravery, I have already loaded 10.5.x on my hard drive, and am having problems. So, I'm considering reinstalling my back up. Should I?

So like many people I have (had) a very unorganized iTunes folder. I decided it was time to basically put all my files in the same format and add a bunch of the missing information to the files, most notably the artist name. I have always saved my files in the following format: Artist name - song name .mp3. then I would just add the files into itunes and of course it would not add any info into the artist field for those songs. Through windows explorer, I added artist names to all of my files and changed some of the file names but how do I go about updating iTunes to reflect these changes?

Now it does this only when I download the update to my iTunes and then sync using USB. When I do a wired sync. I can't figure out how to make it do it again automatically.

When importing songs into iTunes, the software by default is set to copy the music files to the iTunes media folder and convert them to .m4a format. This, of course, results in having two copies of each song after the import is done. I have some files there, but more importantly, my iTunes library is saved directly on the Lacie (I have everything on apple lossless, so they are some big files). I will keep using this PC while connected to the Lacie hard disk to syncro my iPod.
The problem is that I bought a mac now and I wanted the Lacie hard disk to be able to transfer files from mac to pc and vice versa. I have already read that I would have to copy the files that are on the Lacie, reformat the Lacie and then paste the files back. My only doubt is that if I do this reformatting, will I have any problems using the iTunes library while connected to my pc and iPod?
I just ask that because every time I changed any iTunes library folder on the computer, the iTunes would say that the music file couldn�t be found and ask me if I wanted to look for the file. I didn�t want to reformat the Lacie to later find out that I would have to �look for� every single music file, because that would be nearly impossible. I don�t know if I was able to make my question really clear�

I have two new iMac 20", did the update 10.5.3 for both units unit A now won't load safari, when i downloaded safari 3.1.1 it won't install "this needs 10.5.2" but "about this mac" says 10.5.3 tried software update again, and nothing to update. Unit B--same update, but safari runs fine.

I can't print to my network computer after 10.6.3. I can however print using Parallels, but I can't print from say preview or any other OSX based software.
The printer is an HP 4200 Laser jet that I access through an ethernet on my work network. I'm the only Mac in the office and am getting ridiculed for not being able to print from OSX.I tried downloading the HP drivers and re installing them but no luck...
I bought Snow Leapord when it was originally released but never installed it. But now I wanted to go ahead and finally get rid of Leapord, but was wondering if the copies of SL that Apple sells in the stores are updated already with the latest updates or are they just the same original CD from the initial launch?I would prefer to install SL which has all the latest updates and Boot Camp drivers already on the disk.I know it won't be exactly up to date, but fairly recent.

I know i could just shut off and it'll reset back to 2000rpm if i dont have the program running but it is turning out to be quite a hassle.

I know I can back up from my Time Machine by going to ~/Library/Safari/bookmarks.plist and restore.. however I can not locate the file?Â
I know that ~/Libray is hidden so I went to Finder and pressed option GO and library displayed... I then opened TIme Machine and attempted to find the bookmarks.plist under Safari on an older backed up copy and the file was not there..
I downloaded iCloud on both my computer and iPad and still don't get music updated!
