I am using the most current version of iTunes (11.2.2(3)) and when I brought it up today all my movie images were missing out of the movie directory/folder. I do not download them to my computer because they take up too much space but the movie images have always been in the directory/folder.Â

I have just downloaded a movie from iTunes Store. It has downloaded, but not showing in iTunes. The file is there & it plays fine. When I have manually tried to add into to iTunes, it will not do it either. What could be wrong

Three times in the last week iTunes (10.6.1) is missing coverart for about 30 of 300 movies. This is also happening with music artwork. The artwork can be individually repopulated using "Get Info" but this is really just a bandaid and I would like to know if anyone knows why this is happening and how to fix the root cause.

I'm going to University in September, so I'm ripping all my DVDs to AVI format (NOT MP3, so I can't add them to iTunes) so I can save storage. And I'd like to view them in Front Row with an image and a description of the movie. So is there a way I can add these to the files? This is how they look in iTunes at the moment.

can anyone tell me what i may be doing wrong? i am trying to create a movie using video clips from my camera. when i download my movies to iphoto, they work great. when i drag them to imovie, they play but i do not get any sound. the 3 little check marks are there but still no sound!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI sent my old and dying machine in and the service place cloned it over to my new machine. All seems to be identical except a sparse disk image that I had to protect personal files. It's just not there. I haven't been able to get onto the old machine to verify yet if it's still there. Would the cloning process have left it off the new machine? Would it's location inside the library folder of my hard drive have become noticed during the cloning process? Could the tech people have cracked it open? Nothing earth shattering on it but still personal stuff.

I synced my iphone 4 to get the movie on my phone so I could watch it on my phone during slow times at work. However I cannot get the movie to sync? So all my other movies which were ripped with handbrake work fine. I have those under the "movie" catergory and they are fine and sync fine. This purchased movie will not go to my phone. It does show under my "purchased" playlist with all the songs I have bought. However it isn't showing in my iphone under the playlist! I can play the movie fine off of my macbook and even moved it to my movie category with the rest of the movies. I have "include movies from playlists" checked under movies when snycing but it doesn't show on my iphone. I have looked thru and spotlight searched it and no go What am I doing wrong on this itunes purchased movie?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just did a clean install on my Mac mini to clean out old unwanted files. When I got to the point of redownloading all my iTunes purchases I checked to see if everything was downloaded and it keeps showing that 1 movie and 1 tv show need downloading yet they already are downloaded both SD and HD. Why do these videos not go away under the Not on my Computer tab once downloaded?

I was looking into a few programs, such as Mac The Ripper, and RipIt, and Hand Brake but these don't seem to work. Does Mac The Ripper only do DVD's or can it do files too? what about RipIt? any other program references are appreciated as long as their legal (some are, some are not, I've looked into this a little) and work. I recently rented a movie for my son to watch, but have not been able to view it because iTunes is telling me that my computer is not authorized to view the movie. It gives me the option of authorizing the computer if I enter my iTunes Store password. I do and it gives me the same error message with the opportunity to again enter my password. If I click CANCEL it tells me what I already knew, and that is that the computer is already authorized. The rental purchase was made from this Mac and yet I'm not able to purchase it. Is there something that needs to be fixed in order to play this, or is this a bug in iTunes 10.5.3?
