I have about a hundred "songs" of comedians telling jokes. The trouble is that these comedians get mixed up in my songs and whenever I shuffle through i always run into one of these comedians.
Is it possible to only have a certain group of "songs" stay in a playlist, away from the full list of songs?
Without downloading the album, U2 songs appears on my playlist out of nowhere. However, when i connect my iphone to the laptop, the album doesn't show up in the itunes, so how could i delete/get rid if it?? Â Â

We have an iPhone 4 that is not playing audio from a playlist we created. We thought it was because we originally created it in the "cloud" but we deleted it and then created a new one. We synced it and still no audio playback. It also skips over tracks. When we try to individually select that song to play, it "skips" over it.

I bought the Straight No Chaser album All I Want for Christmas in December. I have deselected it every which way I think I can and it, as well as a couple other Xmas songs I purchased after that, won't come off my music playlist on my iphone.

When I click on a song in one playlist and drag it to add it to another playlist, I'm unable to drag/move the song I'm cicking on. Everything is up to date and authorized with my iTunes and computer. I'm using a Mac OS X Version 10.5.8
View 1 Replies View RelatedI know that I used to be able to drag songs to a different order in my iTunes playlists, but tonight, no matter the order that I add the songs to the playlist, or Smart Playlist, the order of the songs is alphabetically arranged, and the only other option is to click on "name" but then it just does reverse alphabetical order. Is something different, in a recent iTunes upgrade? I'm a music teacher and I am trying to put the songs in the order that my students will be performing them next week?

I am using iToons !0.6.1(7) on a MacBook Pro Running OSX 10.7.4.I cannot get my playlist to play the songs sequentially. All songs are checked, the suffle is off, and there is nothing in the info. For example, when I try to play the first song it just skips to the second. Sometimes it skips many tracks. The songs in my playlist were ripped from my CD.

When I log in and try to manage my exisiting playlist, I click on add songs.
THe search window opens and I enter a song. The choices which then appear do not have "add song" buttons next to them. Instead, they have purchase options buttons.Â
I have tried this for weeks. Using a macbook pro (LION) with latest version of itunes.

I deleted some songs from my library (and computer) but they still show up in a smart playlist (the playlist pulls by 'year'). The playlist cannot find the locations but why does the smart playlist still look for them even though they don't exist in the library anymore? Also, when I sync my iPod it says that it cannot sync the deleted songs. I have tried deleting the playlist and creating a new one, but it still pulls up the ghost songs.
View 3 Replies View RelatedCan I transfer with icloud to my ipad and then icloud transfer to mackbook air? I didn't by the songs in the playlist on the macbook, so they didn't transfer automatically and I have 1300 songs to transfer. It takes too long saving them to a bunch of cd's.

When I burn a disk from my playlist the songs are out of order.

I have been using itunes for many years and have burned countless cd's. Suddenly on many of my standard sized playlists I am getting the 'the songs in this playlist will not fit on one audio cd' prompt and nothing I do seems to fix it. A typical playlist size is 18 songs, 1.2 hours, under 200mb, and all of this should fit fine on an 80min., 700mb cd. I have tried changing from audio to mp3 in the burning preferences, then to a data cd {which actually looks like it sort of worked, but put the songs in artists alphabetical order- rearranging my entire mix}.. Since I imported my library from an older IMac to a newer one- many songs are cutting off at some random point in the song.. and, oddly enough, if an entire album the cut-off time is the same for every song in that album..

The music library on my desktop itunes program has all my songs. But I just want some of those songs -- which are contained in a itunes playlist I created -- to be loaded onto my iphone. How can I load only a particular set of songs, or a playlist of songs, onto my phone and not my entire music library?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIÂ just updated to Lion 10.7.3 and iTunes 10.6.1 and imported my Leopard iTunes Library. I can Get Info on individual tracks but when I shift select or command select multiple tracks the iTunes window turns gray and nothing can be selected. iTunes just freezes until I press the Escape key. So far, everything else works as expected - the only problem is selecting multiple tracks (which worked fine for me on previous OS and iTunes versions).Â

I would like to make a playlist to include favorite songs from a single artist. For instance have a list for John Williams, and etc. Is this possible in iTunes?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to make up a playlist of my top 100 most played songs I thought I had done it but when ever a new song is added and reaches a play count high enough to be added to the playlist it does not show up.
what I should select when creating this kind of playlist?
I recently decided to delete all the iTrip stations from my library but I couldn't left click/drag to select them all because you can't.
Command 'a' doesn't help either because it selects all the songs in the library, where as I only wanted to select certain ones.
Most audio books, I either want to listen to only once, or at long intervals. I would like to do the following: Create a playlist to sync to my iphone: The smart playlist has the following criteria:Â
A:Â The genre is AudioBooks.
B:Â The playcount is 0.
C:Â Pick 25 at random
D:Â Include partially played books.Â
The latter is the show stopper. How do I make sure that a book I started to listen to one time is still on the playlist the next time after I sync my phone. I'm willing to have a second playlist of "Books in progress" If it can't be done directly any pointers to an applescript for this?

Anyone know how to locate multiple files/songs in iTunes? All of a sudden iTunes only plays some songs while most say it can't be found, would you like to locate it etc. I know I have all the songs in the iTunes Music folder but how do I let iTunes know that they are all there instead of going through each and every song manually? Is there a way other than Adding all the songs back into the library?
View 4 Replies View RelatedHow do I stop iTunes from breaking out all the songs in one album into multiple albums when the artist has many collaborators on the different songs, for example Timbaland? I want to just listen to the full album with all the songs, instead of having to play every song separately.

View 18 Replies View RelatedSo I have a ton of music on my computer. Multiples of songs etc. I've deleted a lot of songs off itunes but still have other copies of them on my computer. I once tried to delete the files but then when I played them on itunes they wouldnt work. So I'm curious, how can I make a copy/file of all the songs on my itunes as backup and delete everything else. And do it safety.
I dont wanna have to do everything one by one.
I have unchecked most of my songs on iTunes to enable an easy iPod synchronization.
Still, iTunes now skips unchecked songs when I play music on my laptop. Has anyone an idea on how to deal with this?
