Jun 26, 2014I have a JPEG photo that's 5184 x 3456 (17.9 MP) It's too big for Twitter which has a file size limit of 5MB.
How do I resize the photo for Twitter? There are no Twitter-specific instructions in the Help Center. I have tried to follow the instructions for Image Export. I end up with identical photos.

Feb 24, 2009I just imported some photos into IPhoto 09 and shortly afterwards my IMac did a hard shut down. Now when I open IPhoto I get the following error:
The Photo Library nees to be upgraded to work with this version of IPhoto.
After that I click on upgrade and get the following msg:
Can't open current photo library using this version of Iphoto.

Jun 15, 2010I ahve June 2009 UMBP running Snow Leopard. Can someone give me an idiots step by step guide on how I can make a copy of the photo's in my iphoto collection and put them on a blank DVD? I have tried copy & paste but this leaves a small "tick" at the bottom corner of each pic and I am not sure what this means?

Mar 25, 2005Don't know if anyone has made an album using iPhoto yet, but if you haven't, you should. I needed some additional portfolios to place around some places where my images are displayed, and I was really getting tired of making my own.
The quality is very good - I got the hardbound 20-page book with black pages and it looks awesome. My only complaint id that they are currently having problems accepting books with Type 1 post script fonts.Had the book in three days after ordering it right through iPhoto.

But I can't click it because another screen pops up saying that iPhoto quit unexpectedly. I can ignore it, send a report, or relaunch the application. Jul 3, 2012I have 2 iphones and i wanted photostream. I got ICLOUD on my PC and it worked fine FOR FREE. My Macbook Pro said I need to upgrade to Lion in order to use photostream. I like my Mac as is but felt okay. It then costs $32 to upgrade-- just to get photstream. Okay so I did it. Then I go to ICLOUD and photostream is not highlighted. Under "learn more" I find out I need to upgrade my software--which I do . Then i find out that i need to go to the App Store and PAY to upgrade my IPHOTO for like another $16.00. I called Apple as there is nothing that says there will be another charge and frankly for $40 plus I can just plug in my phone. I am really angry and have not paid for the IPHOTO app that I dont want. There is nothing even in the forums I read that says there will be another charge.
