Starting a few days ago my mac is having issues with my iCloud email address. It keep asking me for my password and when I enter it, seems that it is not be ble to sync with my account and it takes the account offline. Given that when setting up the iCloud account on Mail no password, as far as I remember, the procedure does not ask for a password (that infact is inexistent), I wonder why sometimes a dialog box like this one appears. It'a little bit bothering, as I have to press the "Cancel" button to dismiss it: the account works fine, though, and it couldn't be different, as I have no idea of what to write in that dialog box.

I did a clean 10.6 install and forgot to backup the ssh key. Now when I try to ssh into the server i get this:

After talking to Apple support a few times, the problem was escalated to a Specialist who suggested the following:
1) Change the "Check for Mail interval" from Every Minute to a longer interval (e.g. Every 5 minutes).Maybe I don't understand the way that iCloud IMAP works, but I thought only POP mail requires a specified interval for polling for new mail. The beauty of IMAP should be that all events and changes to Mail are reflected instantly to all devices.
2) Change your Mail pasword. I didn't want to do that because it would take a lot of work on the number of OS X and iOS devices that I own.

I just set up icloud on my mac and now my mail won't recognize my password. Formerly, on mobileme i had the main computer which was pre-intel so now I'm switching to my intel mac. Everything is fine on cloud, all the data is there, but on my computers (intel computer and also pre-intel) when I try to check my mail it keeps saying that it doesn't recognize the password. I just switched to iCloud from MobileMe, and my Mail program now tells me that my password is not correct. I've gone so for as to delete the account and add it again, and it still will not accept the password. I know the password is correct, it works on this site, as well as directly in iCloud, and on my iPhone, it's only the Mail program that it won't work in.
