i have two itunes accounts, one on the french store, my first one, and another on the US one.
i subscribed to itunes match with the french account, and when i went on the us one, i lost all my songs for three months! i need my two accounts, i live between nyc and paris.

A couple of months ago, my iTunes inexplicably started popping up a small window with track info whenever the song changed.
I've searched the web and these forums and have been unable to find a way to disable this, or even see any record that it exists outside of my machine.
P.S. It's the thing in the middle of the picture.
I was trying to change the info on all the songs in my iTunes library yesturday to try and get all the songs from some albums to be together rather than seperated when different artists were performing by changing them all to 'Various'. Unfortunatly I typed 'Various' into the Album box by mistake and now all my songs have the same album name. Is there any way of undoing my mistake or am I going to have to go through all 17 days worth of somgs and change them individually? I haven't got a recent back up off my computer, but I do have quite alot of the music stored on either my iPad or my iPhone

When I opened iTunes today I notice that I´d lost the libraries and all new songs. Suddenly I only had olg songs and apps.
I had the backup of the computer in Time Machine. Is there a way to fomat (or delete) and restore iTunes without formating and restoring the computer?

My laptop recently contracted 4 Trojan horses - yes, it was nasty. I had to have the entire thing restored, but luckily all my data was backed up before this.
Once my laptop was back to normal, I downloaded itunes and plugged in my ipod. Itunes then began automatically synching the empty itunes with my ipod - I tried to cancel it but it was too late, and the new itunes had effectively wiped my ipod of all it's content.
All my music was backed up on to data discs, so it could have been worse - however the songs which I cannot get back, are the ones I purchased off itunes, and that's quite alot.
bought a new mac for christmas, finally got aroung to synching my wifes ipod and all her music is gone, is it possible to recover these songs?

I maintain my ITUNES Library on an external hard drive. Recently I had a power outage. When power was restored I clicked on my ITUNES before I turned my external drive back on.
More the half my library is now missing. When I click on a song I get message that file cannot be located.
With 10.6.3 iTunes there is no way to convert to MP3?

When I log in and try to manage my exisiting playlist, I click on add songs.
THe search window opens and I enter a song. The choices which then appear do not have "add song" buttons next to them. Instead, they have purchase options buttons.

I want to know if this is possible and, if so, how to do it.
Currently, my iMac's HD is overloaded by my 220GB collection (mostly podcasts).
My idea is to have the iTunes collection on an external hard disk (e.g. a Western Digital Passport 320GB).
When connected to the iMac, iTunes on the iMac reads the MP3's from the external disk.
Then, when I'm on the road with my MacBookPro, the MBP's iTunes would read from the same external hard disk.
A problem could be how to make the second MBP recognize any updates to the iTunes list that has changed when used with the iMac since the last hookup.
So I used to love to go to the iTunes store, click the Top Charts Singles & then sort by music genre and download all the new rock songs. Is there any way to sort the top 200 songs by genre anymore?

I'm a pro musician with a large archive of personal music, nearly 60Gb, and didn't expect iCloud to try to upload the whole lot! So iTunes keeps crashing when trying to "Match". I just want a single Playlist with a few selected items to be available to Apple TV so how do I change things? As a result of trying to find a way into iCloud to amend things I started a process that threatened to erase all my Address Book and Calendar data and couldn't easily stop it - kept going round in circles! Lost all Calendar data on my computer so had to restore from Time Machine - how do I cancel that part of iCloud?

I've given my daughter my old itouch and have created an apple id for her with funds so she can download and update her own apps. In the settings, her apple id is correct, but when she tries to update/ download apps, the prompt is my apple id (i guess because it used to be mine) and we cannot find out how to stop it automatically prompting for my id and replace it with a prompt for her id. So over the past few months I have noticed this small bug/glitch in iTunes... and it is very annoying.
I cannot drag songs from playlists into different order. iTunes just doesn't let me drag at all.
I have to quit iTunes, then restart it. It will work for one time, but as soon as I got back to "Library" and then try to go back and edit a playlist, I have to exit iTunes.
Any fix for this?

My Garageband files are huge (10 minutes songs, 20 tracks...).
I backed them up to iCloud. I just want to know if it is safe to delete them from my Mac? If I'm not currently working on the particular song, it doesn't make sense to store it on my computer.
Is this safe to do? I just want to make sure I don't lose anything. I guess I can always download (save it to my computer) again from iCloud, or connect to iCloud from another Mac if this one died?
I just remember when Apple first introduced Garageband, I tried to backup all my songs and a lot of the data/tracks got lost in the process.
