iCal can't log in to your "MobileMe" account because your password may be incorrect. Keep getting this error. Have repeatedly checked settings. Password is correct. Want this to stop.

Had a breach on my gmail a couple of days ago and changed my password but then, the iCal on my Air then stopped syncing with my Gmail calender even when I checked that the password was correct. It just keeps saying:
iCal found a CalDav server but couldn't login with the username. Make sure username and password are correct and try again.
I've done the following:
1) Deleted off iCal and tried to reinstall
2) Tried to install as CalDav with the /calendar/dav/username@gmail.com/user/ with 443 SSL
Both ways don't work for me...
What are my options for sharing my calendars with friends? Do I need a mobileme account? We have one computer with two e-mail addresses and two iphones. Do we need the family plan?
Eg '4' in 'Inbox' and '54' in 'Drafts' which are not actually there? This is on Macbook pro in 'Mail'.Iphone seems synced OK.

I accidentally changed my password this morning when I thought I was doing something else. iCal doesn't recognize either my old password (which I would like to get back) nor my new one (which I'll keep if I have to) and so won't syn with my iPhone.

I spent some time avoiding Lion after being part of seeding, even to the extent of buying a new MacPro last year, that would not require Lion. I wish to stay with Snow Leopard until a new OS apeals to me, might be Mountain Lion, might be Puma or Lynx. I now see that I have been caught out - MobileMe, iCal, iSync, iDisk etc will end and move (with limited comparability to MobileMac) to iCloud, and so far, it seems that this requires Lion exclusively!
Is this really so? Has Apple really become so violently unfriendly to its friends and associates - its Users, that it will actively and knowingly ignore their pleas, for a return to intelligent Operating Systems and Applications - I was told recently that Apple was only interested in those who are not yet Mac users. This would be very sad.
It does fit though with Apple's behaviour regarding FCP - I'd used used FCP since version 1, now I must stay with the ever aging version 7 or go to Adobe or Avid - neither of whom I enjoy working with. I might just have to invest huge money into a Heavyworks or Quantel system - I loathed FCPX! But really this is ultimately about Apple's direction. Why has it now become so narrow, when once it was possible to be many versions behind the current and still function?

I have migrated my Mobileme data to iCloud because my iMac supports Lion. However, my wife's iMac, running Snow Leopard cannot be upgraded (if that's the right word) to Lion so cannot migrate. She currently has a .mac email only ID through Mobileme which is functioning OK but my question is, will she still be able to use it when Apple switches off Mobileme?

I've had MobileMe and just got rid of it, essentially transferring it over to iCloud. So I now have two iCloud accounts, one set up for my personal e-mail, one with my old MobileMe stuff including my Calendar, Contacts, and Me.com E-mail (which I do use sometimes). What to do? I don't want 2, as it will get so confusing. Any way to combine? Can I get rid of the iCloud account set up to my personal domain email? In order to make my wireless internet network secure, I added a password to it today. Every other computer in the house, as well as my XBox 360, is able to connect to the internet using the password that I set up. For some reason, when I try to connect to my Macbook, it tells me that the password is wrong, yet it works with the other 3 computers in my house. What am I missing? Do I need to change my settings on Airport? My wireless router is obviously working so what do I need to do?

I have changed everything I can think to change and read every help topic I can find on the subject and performed every fix they have suggested. I have to have access to this account as it is my primary email address for my non-profit organization!

I don't know why but a recently I've been asked to enter my icloud password related to my iCloud e-Mail address. stupidly, I've forgot what my password is. is there a chance to reset it somehow?
To explain the situation a bit better and what I've tried already, here a short discription of the situation:
- I do have a appleID that is called firstname.lastname@gmail.com the related password is appleID_Password1.
with this combination I also conduct my purchases in iTunes and the AppStore. But to rule this possibility already out: It doesn't let me access my iCloud eMail account in Apple Mail. Funny enough, though, when visiting iCloud.com this is the combination with which I log onto iCloud incl it's mail service within the web browser.
- the iCloud eMail address for whose password I am looking is called something like abcde@me.com. I have implemented it into my Apple Mail program running on Mac OS X Lion. Since setting up the account i've never ever been asked to enter my password. But now, out of a sudden, I was. And, of course, I couldn't remember it anymore. Hence, I don't receive any eMails sent to abcde@me.com anymore on my mac.
Can somebody tell me how to fix it, if it is not the password for my appleID??
