ICloud :: Calendar Entries Double Triple Or Even More
Feb 8, 2012Ever since Icloud, everytime I enter an event it doubles, or triples the event. This occurs even with all but one of the calendar types checked. I would love to just delete those other types of calendar because I dont need 5 types of calendars. Things were working great until Icloud dammit Steve lol

Mar 15, 2012My wife and I subscribe to each other's ical calendars via iCloud and it's been working fine since first set up months ago. Suddenly today, she got a ton of emails after I updated and added a bunch of events in my calendar. This hasn't happened before today. Neither of us changed anything and I know I made similar updates in my calendar earlier in the week that didn't generate emails to her.

Except my server is p06-imap.mail.me.com - rather than imap.mail.me.com - but can't seem to edit this - done all the obvious things...

OS X :: Transferring Old Email Messages To New Mac
Aug 24, 2010So right now I'm in the process of replacing my current 24" iMac with a new 27" i7 iMac. I'm trying to get everything ready to move all my old files over to the new one. The problem I'm having is I just sold my current iMac online and I need to format it and get it to its new owner before I will have my new iMac. Which I wont have until next week. So I dont think i can use the migration assistant, right? I'm thinking I just need to move everything over to an external harddrive. I've moved all of my itunes files onto it and all my photos. But I'm not sure how to get things like all my email messages that are on this computer on there. I would like to have all my email messages on my new iMac. Can anyone help me accomplish this and let me know anything else I would have to do or know during this transition?

Sep 3, 2009I have been getting other peoples mail for a little over 3 weeks now. Here is the deal:

I Receive A Message To: gamboawilmer@xxxxxxx.xxx
There are over 50 senders and it seems that it is a computer that is making these messages. There are huge misspellings and what's worse is that these emails are all sexually orientated. There are no pictures! But I didn't sign up for anything and I just started getting these emails all of a sudden. Each email sender is different (different address) and I have made over 30 rules in Mail Preferences to simply delete any mail from the sender(s) But I get a couple new senders every day. I' am going to have over 100 rules if this continues!

Jun 20, 2010When my ISP changed from Patmedia to Comcast I changed all my iCal notifications to my new email address. I deleted all references to my old address in Address Book on my computer and on the Mobil Me Address Book as well as deleting the address in Previous Recipients in Mail. I am getting mail from "postmaster@mac.com" that it can't deliver mail to my old mail address. So iCal is still trying to send a reoccurring reminder to this addressfrom somewhere. Apr 7, 2012My iCloud calendar invitations are sent out in German even though my icloud.com account settings say the account is managed in English. What can I do? where is the email generated? within mail? within ical? I'm running an English version of Mac OS X 10.7.3 Lion. Mail is in English. Could this be because the account was originally a mac.com then a mobileme and now an iCloud account. Some sort of legacy information on the account that there just isn't an option to change anymore?!

May 9, 2012My ical is not syncing with my iPhone 4s. I had mobileme and upgraded to iCloud. I also have Mac Lion and feel like I have all the upgrades required, but any time I enter a new event in my iCal, it never transfers to my iPhone. Note: when I enter an event in my phone, it DOES transfer properly to my iCal on my Mac.

May 27, 2012How the blazes do you you get rid of MULTIPLE entries in ical? I have read many answers and printed off a few to follow them but invariably i get to a point where I am unable to take the next step! I back track and and unable to find a fault of where I went wrong!! Then I have to ask myself WHY? Why on earth am I having to go to such extreme lengths to get rid of the unwanted entries?Come on now Apple it is you who should be providing the simple logic answer to this?I decided to give up? just ignore the other entries it easier than going frantic trying (and anyway I am frightened I may throw the macbook in my temper)
