Subsequent to that I created a new company, with its own credit card, and created a new Apple ID specifically for purchases for that company. Now when I go to make a purchase on the app store with my iPhone how do I switch between the two Apple IDs so that the purchase I make uses the appropriate credit card?

Nov 2, 2010Hello everyone! Hope I can get some great advice re: Apple Care and my MBP. Here are the basics.
Bought 2010 MBP brand new in June from Apple's site and also have Apple Care extended warranty. Since the beginning it's been plagued with kernel panics, gray screen of death, and lots of buggy behavior and app crashes. Have made two Genius Bar visits.
First they said it was a RAM problem and replaced that. MBP still didn't work right. Next they said it was a logic board problem and replaced that. MBP still doesn't work right! I've called customer support, they said to do OSX re-install and gave me a case ID #. Did that, MBP still has all the problems listed above.
I have my third Genius Bar appointment this week. At this point I think most people would conclude I've got a lemon MBP. So, my question is, what are some tips or recommendations on what I need to say/do to get Apple to replace with a new MBP? I'm tired of going back for repairs to this already frankenstein machine and believe that if they could have fixed it by now, it would be working fine. Any thoughts? Thanks!
App Store :: Doesn't Give The Option To Update App?
Apr 2, 2012I want to update Aperture, but when I go to the App Store it tells me "All apps are up to date". I'm running an iMac, OS 10.6.8, current Aperture version 3.1.3 (latest version stated on App Store as 3.2.3).
I've tried downloading the update manually, but the updater doesn't work and tells me my version of the app must be updated through the App Store. (This is especially annoying because I transferred my Aperture Library to a MacBook which has a newer version of Aperture installed and it reformatted my library to a newer version. Now I've copied the library back to the MacBook but Aperture won't open the library because it's a requires the newer version of Aperture!)

Since then, I send money to a friend who lives in the US and he emails me back the code from a gift voucher. My account is registered at his address but doesn't have any billing information in. I was just reading that when you go in for the first time, it asks you to verify your credit card information. As I don't live in the US and don't have a US credit card, and set the account up with store credit, how would I go through and confirm my billing information without card info? Jan 6, 2011Tried out the App Store today, it looks cool. Way cooler than expected, I actually like it. I decided to go on a downloading spree of FREE apps. Now I have an Apple ID, but I've never filled out the credit card info. I will not be using the App Store for anything paid, I don't want to put in my credit card info, is there any way I can create an account without giving Apple my CC details? Cons: seems pretty hopeless at detecting installed apps. Apparently I don't have GarageBand or Keynote installed. Ah well.
