I am trying to download windows on a mac. I have download windowsxp.iso and I have burnt it on a disk, then I started boot camp and got to the start installation, then it says installer disk could not be found. What do I do
Apologies if there are other specific threads like this, I did do an MRoogle search but couldn't find one.I've just got a new 15" 2.66ghz i7 MacBook Pro, and have Windows 7 64 bit ready to install. My question is, once I have it installed, with all the Snow Leopard drivers and 3.1 update, should I continue to download drivers from the manufacturers's websites, or just stick to the ones that Apple hands out in their updates?I suppose I'm specifically asking about the NVIDIA drivers. Should I install the most recent drivers for the 330m, or again just stick to the Apple ones?
Is there anyway I can download bootcamp drivers for windows 7, I got this macbook pro 2nd hand without a snow leopard CD but came with snow leopard on it, please help me I can install w7 fine but cant install any drivers or get stuff to work...
I have windows 7 32 bit although would now like to put it on my Mac Pro and want to use Windows 7 64 bit although MS doesn't allow you to download it off their site anymore.Does anyone know any sites which have Windows 7 64bit where I can download from? I'm still able to get the Serial numbers from the MS site I just need a site to download the 64 bit version.
Is it better for me to buy the upgrade for windows 7, from vista to windows 7 or to buy the full copy? If i buy the fully version, should i get rid of my pardon, and re-do it with bootcamp, or should i just do it over my current pardon? (Vista) I just want the best way, less pain, less anger. Im willing to pay more for full IF IT IS THE BEST way to do it.
Well the rc1 for windows 7 was released today and I want to try it out on my Macbook Pro. Question is there's 2 versions I either download the 32 bit version or the 64 bit version. Which version do I need on my MacBook Pro?
Im new to MAC and i was wondering if I could pre-download the MAC update in my windows desktop then save it in my portable HD then copy it over to my MBP.

I installed Windows 7 RC but I left my Leopard DVD in storage about 4 and a half hours from where I am. I downloaded the boot camp 2.1 for Vista from Apple but it won't launch. It just sits there. I double click on it and it just sits there. Nothing happens. I tried different versions, running in compatibility mode for all different sorts of older MS OS's, running as administrator, running in safe mode, etc. I cannot get the file to launch and I cannot find anyone who has a similar problem.

I downloaded Win 7 ISO, because I thought I was supposed to download that instead of the other, to install on VirtualBox. With the ISO version I need a previous version of windows to upgrade from. Is there a way around this? I've read some things and tried it, but couldn't get it to work.
After the download is completed, I try to open it and a window pops up and says, "You can't open the application MSN Messenger because PowerPC applications are no longer supported"
I purchased Quicktime 7 Pro for windows online through Apple. I have my registration code, but cannot dowload the software with the instructions included in the order email. I looks like the instruction are for XP and I'm using Vista. How do I download the program?

I am working completely in Windows 7 with an extended MAC USB keyboard in Excel, and am trying to take a screen shot no luck. I am used to the "Print Screen" button on a PC keyboard. I don't want to download any new software.
Whenever I try to get AVG Anti-Virus Free, it only directs me to a link to upgrade from 7.1 to 7.5. Since I had 7.1 removed from my machine, this upgrade obviously will not work. But I can never find a link to the actual 7.5 install itself. Does this even exist? How does one find it? Or better yet, is there a better free anti-virus option available?

(Or can point me in the right direction to finding them?
I have a Late '08 Unibody, 2.8GHz variant. I need to do something in Boot Camp and I've set up Windows, and also downloaded and installed the nVidia 9600M GT drivers, and that's working. I'm going to have to need to download DX9.0c as well probably. Now I'll only have access to my Leopard disk again in a few days. Anyone know what are the drivers to install for the mother/logic board, the ethernet at least, and also sound card drivers?

He "opened" a word document from yahoo email, saved it, but can't find it again.
I suspect the person saved the document in the temporary download folder, but can't find the path to it (found the hidden cache folder but that wasn't it). Anyone got any clue on where the document could be found?
