I have windows 7 32 bit although would now like to put it on my Mac Pro and want to use Windows 7 64 bit although MS doesn't allow you to download it off their site anymore.Does anyone know any sites which have Windows 7 64bit where I can download from? I'm still able to get the Serial numbers from the MS site I just need a site to download the 64 bit version.

Apologies if there are other specific threads like this, I did do an MRoogle search but couldn't find one.I've just got a new 15" 2.66ghz i7 MacBook Pro, and have Windows 7 64 bit ready to install. My question is, once I have it installed, with all the Snow Leopard drivers and 3.1 update, should I continue to download drivers from the manufacturers's websites, or just stick to the ones that Apple hands out in their updates?I suppose I'm specifically asking about the NVIDIA drivers. Should I install the most recent drivers for the 330m, or again just stick to the Apple ones?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem where whenever I click on a link in say iChat, or Skype or even when im trying to set up Flickr on iPhoto, the webpage link opens up VMware fusion, starts up the OS and opens Internet explorer. I have tried the settings and disabling the sharing folder, but it doesnt work, VMware still opens up. Has anyone else had this problem?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI use MBP Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and use both Safari 4.0.4 and Chrome for browsing, and it is increasingly happening (on both browsers) that I need to click outside the active window (i.e. go to the menu bar and click on it, anywhere on it, to be able to press a link or a new tab buttons inside the open window). If I don't do that the active window buttons or links do not work, they depress or shade or do whatever, but do not actually do the function.

I'm running Windows7 in a bootcamp partition, along with OSX 10.6.2. I use Dropbox to sync my files between computers, and currently have all of my Dropbox files in OSX. My drive is currently partitioned approximately 75% OSX, 25% W7. I'm trying to save space on my BC partition, and hence, following this guide: (URL)
I'd like to be able to create junctions of the files on my OSX partition and drop them into W7. This way, I don't have 2 copies of each file (one in W7, one in OSX). However, using Link Shell Extension, I'm not able to create symbolic links/junctions etc to the OSX partition. I also tried setting my Dropbox folder in W7 to be the same as the one on the OSX partition, but Dropbox won't allow it. Basically I want to know how I can mirror the contents of a directory located in OSX in W7, without having to simply duplicate all the content.

View 8 Replies View RelatedSome download links on the internet are re-direct links ie you can't right click to save link as (such as on the apple site for itunes 10.1) for some reason on both safari and firefox with these links it just loads the page and no download dialog box opens, i've disabled pop up blockers on both but it still seems not to work, what am i doing wrong? I know i could use software updates but i want to re-install the programs so that won't work

View 4 Replies View RelatedOn a couple, but not all, of my financial institutions webpages, I can't download the statements and save them as pdf. When I click the pdf link, a page opens showing the statement, but to see it all, one has to scroll the screen. When I try to print it, by clicking File on the toolbar, the pulldown menu gives me only the option of Print Largest Frame which prints only what is visible on the screen in the window. When I try to save by going to File, then Save As, a window opens for print options giving me two format choices: Page Source (html) or Web Archive, but no pdf. The statements never download, nor open as pdf.
What is odd, is that this issue is not common to all financial institutions. On some, the statements read, load, save, and print as pdf just fine. I have updated the Adobe Reader, and all software on my Mac.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a early 2008 model Macbook Pro that I purchased from my school in early 2009 because they had it chilling there brand spanking new for $1,300. My first Apple computer.
I installed Windows 7 RC but I left my Leopard DVD in storage about 4 and a half hours from where I am. I downloaded the boot camp 2.1 for Vista from Apple but it won't launch. It just sits there. I double click on it and it just sits there. Nothing happens. I tried different versions, running in compatibility mode for all different sorts of older MS OS's, running as administrator, running in safe mode, etc. I cannot get the file to launch and I cannot find anyone who has a similar problem.
I'm trying to download the RC on my PowerMac to burn to DVD, but this is all I get.
Do I need to use a computer running Windows, or is that what happens?
