View 3 RepliesDoes anyone know how to remove a foreign object from the DVD/CD disk drive. I've accidently put a digital camera card in this drive and can't get it out. It won't eject because it doesn't recognise it. I've tried putting a DVD in to see if it would eject with that put it just ejects the DVD.
Info:iMac
The problem that I am having is copying and pasting keyframes from one object to another. How I am currently trying to do this is by highlighting all of the keyframes within one object (a blue rectangle), and pasting them onto a image within Motion 5.
I am able to copy the keyframes from the object but unable to paste them, as the paste button is greyed out. I have tried using different groups and also adding them to the same group, but I'm still having this problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a macbook air. My problem is that it has a total of 120 gb and 50 gb are taken by the section of other. However i dont recall downloading something that has that size. and none of my other documents add up to 50 gb.
View 2 Replies View RelatedNormally consider myself quite able to troubleshoot my own problems, but I can't for the life of me figure out what to do here, and can't seem to find many others who have the same problem. The drag-and-drop function in Snow Leopard appears to be either broken or deliberately crippled. My work sees me having to move a lot of files from folder to folder, and I've discovered that, as of fairly recently, I can no longer drag-and-drop more than 85 objects from one folder to another. Up to 85, everything works just fine -- but if I select 86, upon dragging I get an "X-ed out" icon, like the "no smoking" or "no parking" circle with a line through it.
I'm not quite sure what to do about this, but would be very curious and appreciative if anyone else has the same issue, or has figured out how to solve it! This, combined with the lack of a "cut" feature in OS X has begun to really impede my workflow.
I've recieved a Word document with an embedded Adobe pdf file in it.
When I try to open the embedded pdf I get the message that it can't find the server application for AcroExch.Document.7-object. What does this mean?
I have Adobe Reader 9 installed.
If I try the same procedure on a PC running XP it opens fine. What can be the issue here.
I want to link the position of an object to another object like this
- Source Parameter = Object.Shape.Outline.Last Point Offset
- Apply To = Properties.Transform.Position.Y
I make all the linkings and the result animation is wrong. I want the linked element to have the same position as the source element. The linked element totals is position with the source's position and animation is not what I want.
I have a lot of greek songs on itunes, but the characters that are shown or not greek at all. It kind of makes searching for songs and such hards so i was just wondering if there's a way to solve this problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just downloaded Parallels trial and saw that in finder there were chinese? characters in the "kind" column???
I have seen these before and wondered how I could change it back to show "application" instead?
(I bet its something so simple!?)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a new-to-me G3, OS 10.3. The keyboard is set up with foreign characters in place of the following keys: `~[]{}|. (There may be other keys replaced with foreign characters but these are the most problematic). I tried resetting using preferences, international, input but this did not work. How can I restore the keyboard to it's original character set?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm not a total newbie with mac and computers in general, but I cannot get the one and only super drive to eject... yes, I have hit the eject button, it shows the eject icon in the screen and nothing...how can I get the thing to eject?
View 17 Replies View RelatedI rarely use my superdrive, so I thought it might be more practical to have the button eject my external hard drive(s). Is there a way to do this through OS X or a third party app?
I've been having problem with either Firefox or Safari and I download something and the dmg extracts and I'm left with the white casing shell where the app is housed and it won't eject. I can't eject it from finder but dumping it to the trash from finder took it off the sidebar. I can't get them off my desktop unless I restart my Mac.
I've noticed now that along with disk images not mounting for me anymore. My external drive images or DVD's won't eject either.
When I use right click with Mighty Mouse I don't even see an option anymore to eject that image. Is there any solution out there to fix this glitch? The work around I'm using is unmounting or ejecting images or disks from Disk Utility.
Why is this happening and how do I fix it? I'm using Leopard 10.5.2 and am on an intel iMac.
How to eject an installation disk, the eject button won't work?

In short - How do I set up an account With English content in Spain with a Spanish bank account?
View 3 Replies View RelatedVery infrequently a loud foreign voice will be heard on my iMac speaker system. I havent been able to really document it properly as it doesnt last that long and as indicated very infrequent--I believe I have only heard it twice, maybe 3 times in the last month.
It would appear to be within the computer system and not from any local transmissions. It seems to only last 5 or 10 seconds if I recall correctly.
I am concerned that it may be some type of hacking or something that has been put on/in the iMac. I believe it occurred while using Firefox.

My brothers friend's iMac won't eject the disc. It locked up the computer and now it won't boot. They have tried holding down the mouse on start up but with no luck. Any thoughts?
View 24 Replies View Relatedi've had a Macbook for a couple years and I have some knowledge of OS X but this one has stumped me.My friend called me tonight and she told me on her new iMac that in the finder window, after clicking on Macintosh HD, the eject button was missing that should be next to the device. This apparently happened earlier today with a CD and happened when she called me with an External HDD.
She was however able to eject the stuff by either dragging it to the trash or doing "Open Apple" + E, key shortcut. I'm stumped on this because she was till able to eject the HDD or CD with the previous methods but the Finder, "eject" button for the devices was missing.
I am a new itunes user and can use your help. I'm sure it is a simple solution.finding a way to eject a cd when there is no eject symbol showing in the usual place.

I just switched to Mac from Windows. I'm using a current-model Mac Mini purchased in the US along with a bilingual Apple Bluetooth Hebrew/English keyboard purchased in Israel. The bilingual functions work perfectly for text; the only problem is that the Mac seems to think that I am using an English keyboard and the OS menus give me keyboard shortcuts for an English keyboard. Since the symbols on a USA keyboard don't exactly correspond to the symbols on my foreign keyboard, the keyboard shortcuts given in the mac menu are useless.
