Applications :: Sync My Existing Calendars On ICal With Google Cal?
May 21, 2009I know that you can add Google Calendar to your iCal this way. Is there a better way? I just don't like how it is a separate calendar instead of syncing with the calendars I already have in iCal, I guess I'm looking for something that will sync my existing calendars on iCal with Google Cal similar to what Mobile Me does. Any suggestions or should I just try tailoring the above method to what I want it to do?

Jun 4, 2012Mail 5.2 (OS 10.7.4) no longer displays embedded images. This happened after I installed an AirportExtreme wireless router. I can send images as attachments, but received mail with images displays blue box with ?. Using "download image" has no effect. Mail/preferences/ has " Display remote images in HTML messages" checked. The answers to similar questions don't seem to apply, or I just don't understand them.

May 7, 2009I just used the ical calibration tool to sync ical up with my google calendar and it works like a charm. I love how i can just click on dates in Mail and add them to my iCal which then pushes i to google calendar for my wife to see...that way i can sneak tennis or a round of golf in and she can't say she didn't know
At any rate-i would like to know if there's a way to pull her cal stuff to my ical. I can see all of her stuff on my google calendar, but i dont have the "right" to add her account to ical. I assume i could just have her enter in her login info - but i would like to know if that's the best way.

Safari :: Embedded BBC IPlayer Not Running
Mar 18, 2012I've got an ongoing issue with the embedded BBC iPlayer on my iMac. For a while now all I get is the loading screen but no video. The iPlayer itself is fine as is any other Flash content but the embedded news articles don't work. I've tried uninstalling Flash and re-installing as described elsewhere on this site but to no avail. I have the latest Flashplayer installed and it's the version recommended by Adobe.

Safari :: 5.1.4 Not Rendering Embedded Profile Anymore
Mar 19, 2012I have been happily using Safari for a long time as a photographer because it was great at properly rendering images online with embedded color profiles.With the latest update, it appears to have stopped. Firefox 10 renders the image properly, but I would like to know if this is an issue with my systems o if other people are running into this with the latest update.
I have attached an example screenshot with FF 10 on the right and Safari 5.1.4 on the left. The rendition on the right is correct, with more red saturation in the glass and logo and less muting of colors overall.I have reset Safari and dumped the entire prefs folder but having the same issue.

May 24, 2012Youtube vidoes are working fine when I'm actually on youtube but if its embedded on another website (facebook, forums etc.) it won't load. On forums, the space where the video is embedded is just blank while on facebook when I click play, there is just a white screen. I've re-installed my flash player multiple times. I've disabled all plug-ins and still won't work. I've taken out my com.apple.safari plist onto my desktop and loaded my safari again.. still doesn't work...

o me the MB has a generally worse screen from a viewing angle. However the screen on Rev B was clearly not as good as the Rev A next to it. It did display the lines when going to Google web page.Oh way cant we get a Rev B but with the screen from Rev A???That would have been the ideal computer!What manufacturer and model do you have in Rev B?

Sep 30, 2008I'm very disappointed in this app. For several reasons. A few of them are:
1. It randomly zooms in and out and moves around when you don't want it to.
2. When you try to go to places outside the country (like Nepal or Thailand), everything is blurry when you try to zoom in on any area.
3. When you click the "Zoom In" or "Zoom Out" button, it often zooms all the way in or out - instead of just one click level in or out.
