Over the past two or three weeks, my Safari has bogged down. It will load most Web pages just fine, but YouTube, Google and Facebook just won't launch. I managed to use it to download Firefox and it's working great. Safari is still a no-go.

My iMac has suddenly just stopped playing the videos in YouTube. Up until today I have been watching them no problem, now every single one i have clicked on says 'This video is currently unavailable'. However I can watch them over the same wifi connection on my iPhone4 no problem. I havent downloaded any new software or been on any sites other than Facebook, so can't imagine whats up with it. Please help I've only has it 5 days.

Safari 5.0.6 won't load Facebook onto my Mac G5. It will load all other sites and if I log onto Facebook from another computer it works fine. Facebook has worked fine until about 5 days ago.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI've been having issues with Facebook on my safari browser. The thumbnail pictures and profile picture will randomly not load. Hitting refresh may or may not fix the problem sometimes. I'm not too sure what causes this, I've done lots of searches and I haven't found anything similar to this. I'm running Safari 5.0.3 with adblocker as my only extension (I've disabled it and the problem still occurs).

Firstly, everything on my Mac is updated and in good order. Other websites work fine.
What happens is that when I'm viewing my Facebook news feed and start scrolling down the page (it then automatically loads new posts) my news feed "jumps". In other words, in doesnt keep in order and it jumbles me up back to stuff I've read.
In other words, somehow, loading the new posts causes my Safari to forget where I am on the page and take me somewhere else. Has anyone else experienced this?
The safari loading wheel is constantly spinning when facebook is open...Software is all up to date (The macbook is only 1 day old) and I've tried rebooting.

I just upgraded Safari to 5.1.4 running an iMac on 10.7.3, now the share button on youtube doesn't function. It's ok on Firefox, looks like I need to abandon Safari.

Google websites are not loading properly all of a sudden (other sites seem okay). I have disabled and uninstalled Safari extensions, reset Safari settings and even tried reinstalling Safari, but no success. Â

My safari has stopped loading pages, happened 2 days ago. Firefox works fine but safari for some reason will not load pages.
My home page is topsites which comes up fine, but when i click on one of the topsite windows it begins to load and the status bar at the bottom reads, connecting "..." or loading"...". I'm also finding i cant upload videos to youtube or vimeo and my weather widget on dashboard also doesn't load quickly, im guessing its all related. I have seen the widget update but i have not seen a webpage load on safari as it was taking too long.

Lately I've been having a lot of trouble watching flash videos.
I've tried emptying the cache, resetting Safari, repairing permissions, restarting my MBP and rebooting the router. Nothing works.
Basically, the videos play when they feel like it.
I press play and nothing happens. Videos just do not load.
Having an issue with Safari loading youtube videos. When a video is buffering Safari becomes very choppy or unresponsive until the video is fully loaded. Only Safari slows down no lag in the os or an excessive amount of CPU usage. Tested in Firefox to make sure it wasn't my internet connection and the video loaded and played fine without any hiccups. I updated my flash player and Safari to 5.1.5 just to see if that would solve anything and tried clearing the cache.

I've a MacBook Pro and I can't go to Youtube and Google Maps with Safari. I've also tried with Firefox but the problem is still not solved.Actually, Safari (or Firefox) keeps charging the page but is unable to get it. I always see a blank page. It only happens with these two websites. Other sites are working perfectly.I've tried so many things like installing the flash, erasing cookies or cache, installing updates but nothing helped. Every time i try to stream videos rather it be on a "tube-site" or not they "buffer" or are interrupted because of slow loading. I have already emptied the cache and reset safari a number of time and it dosnt help. This issue seems to be getting worse with time, as when i first got it it was fine of course.

The pages stop loading and I can't do anything like read a message or post a comment. All other websites work, so it's not an Internet connection problem. I've erased cookies, cleaned out my cache, changed my MTU, DNS, etc., but nothing works. I've also scanned for spy software and found nothing, which leads me to believe the problem has to be with my Macbook/operating system.

Have uninstalled Firefox completely - including all leftover files - and reinstalled: still nothing. It's running happily on Chrome under 10.6.8 so I know it's not a connectivity issue through the router.Obviiusly not the app, not the connection, only common areas are the computer itself, which seems to be running happily enough, and maybe something in OSX that has been affected?

I am Having some issues with Safari (I am using 4.0.5), if I open up a website the screen stays white like it normally does for a sec to load a web page but the loading icon keeps spinning and spinning and spinning....... until I click the "X" stop icon and reload the web page. As soon as I click the reload icon the webpage loads up instantly, it is getting really annoying and would be great if anyone has a fix. This doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen frequently and then be fine for a few web pages and then start up again.
