Safari keeps crashing when I watch video's on youtube.,
When I go to YouTube to look at any video with Safari ( 5.1.7 ) on my iMac the video never loads up correctly. I try to pause the video to let it load up but the video won't pause right away. Then I get the spinning beach ball. The video will not play until the entire page is loaded and the video has to be loaded before it will play correctly. This has been going on for at least four or five months. Now if I use Firefox ( 4.0 ) there is no problem at all. I don't want to use Safari for everything and then use Firefox just to look at YouTube.

At first for the first 30 minutes all ok, then after a while the my whole computer and the audio jumps, safari is using 120% and finally the audio starts crackles and this includes all sound even itunes, the only way to stop it is to put my laptop to sleep .

View 8 Replies View RelatedOne day I had to look for a web page that only supporst firefox or explorer, I do not like other browser but safari, so I had to install that **** firefox, once I checcked that page, (an official page for governement) I uninstalled firefox, I do not like it and I rather my safari, suddenly I cannot watch video on youtube using my safari browser, some videos I can watch and a lot of them I cannot, videos that I have watched before, I checked my other mac wich is like a twin of mine only less ram and It works perfect on youtube.

Recently I've noticed that my macbook pro is having a very hard time on youtube. The video player goes black but the audio continues. It freezes my computer. The video will sometimes play if I stop and reload the page multiple times in succession. I have a mid 2009 macbook pro running OSX lion 10.7.3

It seems whenever I launch a youtube video, there is a tremendous lag that occurs for a good 30 seconds before my video is able to be seen. It completely locks up my browser and freezes. Thought it was my iMac at first, buy Firefox works fine. I reset everything on Safari and still nothing.

i bought windows 7 for my recently purchased macbook pro so i could play star trek online. i installed both but apparently windows is not recognizing my Nvidia geforce 320, 256 mb graphics card it just shows up in windows as Standerd VGA graphics adaptor. When i run i diagostic on directx it says creating 3d graphics is impossible so when i finally try to run the game it says cannot create 3D3.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am moving some files from my old PC onto my mac and some of my .AVI videos aren't playing. It says that I need to download a plugin for it to play. It takes me to a webpage with some links. I downloaded the Divx codec and all it did was install a divx player. I am not sure if it installed any plugins for quicktime. I tried updating my QT software and it said I had the most current software. What am I doing wrong? Also, I am having trouble playing some mpg files too. Some are working whereas others are not. All of these files played just fine in my windows media player on my PC and no mac app seems to be working for me. I have a 3 week old MB.

If I send the videos using iPhoto to FaceBook they work fine, but not if I just send out the link (tell a friend), the videos don't play. They get a prompt that says install quicktime, but then it still doesn't work. I did an online chat with support and the person told me to use iMovie and how to do that. So, question one is, is the problem with sending video through iPhoto that the file is not compatible with other computers? Question two is, should I be sending the video through iMovie?

View 1 Replies View RelatedToday at office we were playing with a little remote helicopter, it was hilarious, in the meanwhile we where browsing on safari, but suddenly Safari stop responding, but hey NO BEACH BALL, and then we started hearing some sound, we thought it was from some flash video on some web page, but then we heard our voices, we were like WTF, and then we heard the helicopter, we were amazed, haha, now safari has new built-in func, "Safari 5 records sounds without telling you", of course we just force quit safari, but wait, it didn't quit, we went to terminal and kill the process..
I just wanted to let you know what just happen to us.
I accidently deleted Safari and now I can't reinstall because it keeps telling me there is a newer version on my computer. The issue is my system does not support the newer version.

The HD videos (1920 X 1080, 24 fps, H.264, widescreen) that I have uploaded from my new Canon Powershot Elph 100 HS camera into iphoto library don't play smoothly at all when Quicktime plays them!! These are .MOV files, and I have Quicktime version 10.1. I also just upgraded to Mac OS X 10.7.3 Lion, so I don't know if this is a Lion issue or a Quicktime issue, or some other incompatibility altogether. The videos play, but they are choppy and the frame rate seems slow. No other programs are running in the background so I don't think it's a matter of other programs slowing it down. How can I play the videos so that they play smoothly? Do I need to use a different player (other than Quicktime) to play HD video? Do I need to convert these .MOV files to some other format?

Well I didnt' read the fine print and BAZINGA! I noticed that it comes without a video card.
